….until he gets inside the 5 yd line. Then he’s absolutely terrible. We are supposed to be a physical, smash mouth team yet goal line offense killed us.

We’d be at least 9-3 if we’d just line up under center and pound it with Rocket.

The team was wildly mismanaged this year. Which is the unfortunate reality of our record.

Not sure our offensive line would allow that

I liked Petrino inside the 5.

He would flip between the shotgun, pistol and I-Formation and from what I remember was fairly efficient in the red zone.

Trickery and misdirection will only get you so far.

We had entirely too many wasted series, 3 and outs, and drive killing goofball play calls, especially early in games. Our defense was awful, and the amount of time they had to spend on the field because of the offense made several of our games a complete shitshow. If Briles could cut some of the double reverse flea flicker shite out, and replace it with some solid play calls, and show that he is truly able to develop a quarterback to run his scheme, along with a competent backup, I could get behind keeping him around.

Did anyone else watch Washington vs Washington State last night? Receiver screens, halfback screens, vertical passing, first down passing, truly unexpected draws and play action calls. Both sides were doing this. It was amazing to watch. Washington ran a play where it looked like the QB was getting a call from the sideline, took s couple of steps that direction while the defense relaxed and looked to their sideline, direct snap to the running back for 5 or 6 on third and 1 or two. It was beautiful.

Why are people acting like we didn't try this? It didn't work because defenders were meeting Rocket at the exchange. The O-line sucked in the redzone all year.

You read my mind. I was watching it last night and thinking I’d love to steal the Washington OC. He would be awesome to pair with KJ.

And the Washington State QB was a sophomore. Both of those teams were doing shite that makes our offense look silly.

Yea. I’m sure he wants to move to a shittier program in a flyover state from Seattle.

Who wouldn’t?

Are you talking about Brock Huard’s nephew? That grew up in Seattle? Uncle and Dad were the starting QB there. He is a 5 star kid who grew up in Seattle.

I’m not so sure about a shittier program, and NW Arkansas is about as beautiful as it gets. Money talks, too.

Talking about their OC. Washington State’s OC seemed good too.

How’s BLJr done this year at Illinois? Haven’t watched them play just saw scores and records. Seems he’s turned around the dumpster that was the Illinois offense.

If you hate losing games in the fourth quarter due to a lack of scoring, he's not your guy.

Sounds like a perfect kind of guy to fit in with Pittman, but I don’t think you could pull him away from that HC. Been with him for a while.

I haven’t followed him. The fact that he would hitch his wagon to Bert is one strike against him in my book.

Depends on who is actually calling the plays. DeBoer was a hell of an OC himself so he may still be doing all of it or part of it. It’d be easier to pry him away perhaps in the scenario.

Is that right? I was born in Yuba City California, lived in Wheatland, Sutter. Lived inWashington for a while, Loveland Colorado, New Mexico, Fayetteville, Virginia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina. That’s just places I’ve lived for several months. Where do I need to get out to?
