Who said anything about using your life by being born here to improve the Razorbacks?
They should be put in the best position to compete and succeed. Anything else we are wasting our time and money on something not as good as it should be. Common sense.

To be honest, discounting the obvious disadvantages that come with LR games, a lot of Bijhon's and the current roster's opinion of LR is jaded by the former obese HC who is known to have hated LR and been ignorant to the program's traditions.
ETA: The GSD has been going on forever, but this talk of people within the program hating WMS arrived with the fatass who needed bad FCS opponents to avoid embarrassment there. Nutt loved LR and players played with their hair on fire there. Petrino may not have loved it, but he treated it as important and we won big games there.

We’ll be doing this GSD until we all die unless someone has the balls to end the nonsense. Long was close it appeared - a major reason why he was fired.
When the new contract comes out soon extending another 5 to 7 years, it isn’t going to stop the discussion of games ending at WMS. It’s only kicking the can farther down the road so someone else has to make the decision.

I don't recall him ever calling it an "away game" publicly. That started with fatty. Petrino actually did the exact opposite in all of his public appearances.
ETA: My point is that it all starts at the top. If we have to play there, it needs to be treated as important or we'll have Toledos. Our previous coach treated it as an unfortunate exhibition game, even against SEC competition, and that trickled down.

LSU has generally been putting forward a better product, and the atmosphere and experience is much much better.
