Refreshing to see a player tell it how it is. It has been known for a long while that most of the players dislike WMS and view it as a road game (which it is).

Too often our players are cajoled into saying nice things about playing in LR. Those responses are forced in interviews to avoid being a distraction. They all have to say how great it is yet most feel this way.

Nothing worse than coming out of a game up there and seeing all of those wine boxes laying all around campus.

Poor little pampered kids, having to play somewhere they don’t like. They are only there for our entertainment. If the GOBN wants to be entertained in LR, then they will be entertained in LR. No matter how much the chair back seat fan and players say they dislike it.

The motive for the melt is what matters, foot. "My university's athletics program is being made objectively worse," vs, "I'll have to drive and you can't party as well."
I'll take the logical, non self-serving melt any day. I'm not FROM Arkansas. None of my family or friends had GONE to AR before me. I've moved all over the country. And yet - somehow - I still manage to love the Hogs. Sad that we have to bask in our inferiority complex around here...woe is us. If we don't cater to the Arkansas version of terrorists, we'll devolve into the Sun Belt.

Let me play devils advocate here with one point: Using the above quote, Arkansas has had more success when it plays more games in LR and only started going way downhill after games started getting pulled.
Minus the one CBMFP season, of course

Our most successful athletic program is track. How many track meets are we forced to participate in little rock? None.
Our women's golf team just won the SEC. How many times dd they play down in little rock? ZERO
The most successful programs we have on campus are the one's who aren't forced to get the stink of central Arkansas on them.
