One can successfully argue the financial detriment of games in LR, but the atmosphere didn't become an absolute joke until those at the top wanted it to be. Five years of awful football severly hurt our atmosphere in Fayetteville too. Sections of the stadium were empty at kickoff and it only got worse as the expected asswhipping commenced.

This is a huge part of it. Bielema never hid the fact that he disliked Little Rock and the team constantly played bad there.
I grew up in Little Rock. Went to Little Rock games every year until I moved away, along with the occasional Fayetteville game. I hate it, but I can accept the fact that it's time to move them all to Fayetteville. I understand that it needs to happen. I also wish this debate didn't result in people being arse holes to each other just because they live in a different part of the state. There's no need for it.

ADD: Fayetteville has been at the forefront of peaceful integration whereas little rock has always been holding the state back:
