I’ve been wondering that as well. I don’t know if we move at all unless we beat or get beat badly by Florida.

I don't see us jumping up to a 3 with the "shite the bed" games and the late season arse reaming Florida gave us.

Our metrics don’t deserve a 3 seed but our record does. We’re ranked 12th in espn strength of record. Winning the sec tournament should get us a 3 seed. The problem is they are probably locking in seeds right now. They usually undervalue conference tournament finals.

A #4 will solely depend on if we win the SECT or not. And even then, I wouldn’t say it’s guaranteed.

It’s not clear to me who the second best sec team is. Us, bama and vandy all have a claim. If vandy win and we do as well, tomorrow’s winner could get a 3 and the other get a 4.

This will cement Vandy in as a 4. Lunardi still has Alabama as a 4 and us as a 5.

Vandy is 16-7 (now 17-7) in quad 1 and 2 wins
Hogs are 14-8
Alabama is 16-9
A win tomorrow makes it 15-8, and may move them up to a 4 and Alabama down to a 5.
May be best to stay as a 5 though. He has us matched with Kansas. Vandy as 4 is matched with 5 seeded Wisconsin which would be dreadful.
Wisconsin is probably the only team on the 4/5 line I would not want to see in the second round. They have won @ Michigan, @Purdue, @Illinois, beat Illinois again, and nearly beat Michigan again today

I agree but everyone assumes lundardi is infallible. It’s not unreasonable that the second best sec team with a tournament championship and a top 12 strength of record would be a 3 seed. Just depends on what’s on the committee’s mind.
