Looks like they’re pulling starters from Aggie, Florida m, South Carolina and Tennessee as well. Crazy what a historically average program can do in todays college football with a good coach, couple 10 win seasons and nil investment. It won’t be next year but it does give me hope that we can work the system the way they did this year in the future to make a real run one day.

Lane and OM have been ahead of the curve on NIL from the jump.

They have gotten there basically by Lane threatening to leave every time he did not get what he wanted from a pay/NIL investment standpoint.

The boosters listened and caved and opened up their po my books at every turn. They did this by grouping together a couple thousand mid-level boosters and getting them all to donate 5 figures and it turned into a windfall for them.

Also, using Lane's celebrity and Twitter persona has been key.

Meanwhile, we have a coach and AD who openly lamented NIL and fought it at every turn and now they're tremendously behind the 8-ball.

It's what happens when one place tries to moral platitude themselves to 4 wins and the other actially cares about football and goes all in from a leadership standpoint.

I'd submit as well that Ole Piss was cheating like hell when Freezus was there.

It helps when you have a program that actually gives a shite about winning.

There must be some kind of mistake. I was assured that we were keeping Pittman because there was going to be a large round of NIL investment from all the the rich NWA boosters. There is no way a poor delta school could match those resources.

That’s because the good ones get paid and don’t leave. Just like offensive linemen.

Don’t doubt it. But who was spouting that crap(I probably missed it and wouldn’t be surprised). Our biggest potential boosters in NWA are too concerned with trying to turn the Buffalo National River and downtown Bentonville into the next Disney world. Their family that attended Mizzou do seem to care about NIL though. :(
