Probably have to win the SECT to get a #3.
The problem is that the committee pretty much has everything locked up by Sunday morning, if we get a 3 seed it will have to be by mainly beating LSU and Auburn before the final.

I feel like we are pretty much locked into a 4 seed no matter what happens. Tiny chance of getting to a 3 if we win the tourney. I think fans put much more emphasis on conference tournaments than the committee does.

And though 4 and 5 aren’t ideal, if there’s ever a year to not be that afraid of the #1 seeds, it might be this year. They’ve all shown to be beatable.
Yeah I wouldn't mind Gonzaga or Arizona.

Really should be unless its a loss to Mizzou, a lost to LSU on a neutral court really shouldn't bump you a seed line. Kind of just depends how much on the edge we are I guess at the moment with the committee.

100%, its been proven time and time again that the committee doesn't really pay too much attention to the P6 conference tournaments outside of bubble teams.

I think there’s some chance we could fall down to a 5 if we lose to LSU tomorrow. Largely depends on what the teams behind us do - Texas, UConn, Houston, etc

Wade will absolutely be out for blood. All of the allegations coming out just prior to the tourney and having lost twice to us this season.. With officiating being what they saw it to be.

I kinda remember that happening with LSU just last year, they were an 8/9 before the tourney and then beat us and went to the championship, lost to Bama by 1 and still ended up an 8.

Yeah, happened a couple of times to us under Mike when we lost to Kentucky in the SECT championship game. We didn't move much at all even after those runs. Its dumb but I think moving the tournament final to Saturday would help a little.

Looks like Toney is out of his boot and practiced today.

I hope the refs calling tonight’s Bama game call ours tomorrow. We will shoot 40 FT’s if they do.

Yeah, other than colossal upsets I think things are pretty much written in stone at this point. Though I wonder if Auburn managed to drift down to a 2 seed with their very lackluster finish to the season.

Something I didn’t think about and probably gives Muss some extra drive to win the tourney is his dad coached in Sarasota back in the 80’s.
