We’re going to suck again on defense because we don’t have any safeties. This team was built better than Sam would’ve done it but we still clearly don’t have the funds to compete with the top of the sport.

I would not go that far.
Most of the portal haul has been on the defensive side of the ball, including two safeties who are the 42nd and 63rd ranked safeties in the portal. Do need to add some depth there.
What makes you say that? Arkansas currently has the #9 portal class according to On3.

It still depresses me to this day that we were denied more Club Dub action than we got. That could have been the gift that kept on giving for years.
