Top 50 forward Will Riley has completed two unofficial visits. The 6-foot-7 four-star from Canada has been on campus to both Villanova and Arizona with more visits to come in the future.
“My recruitment is going great,” Riley said. “I’m talking to a bunch of schools right now. I’m coming off sickness and now I’m trying to get back in the gym and work hard.”
Riley continued: “As of right now I haven’t planned visits but I’ll be starting to plan them soon. I’ve been talking to a bunch of schools but nothing is scheduled. I’ve talked to Villanova, Arkansas, Michigan and Arizona about officials.”
Riley discussed his thoughts on some of the programs involved in his recruitment with 247Sports.
Arizona: “It was a great unofficial visit. I got to meet the full staff and we’ve been talking a lot since.”
Villanova: “That visit went really well. I had a good conversation with the coaching staff and they have a beautiful campus. They have interest in me and I really like talking to them.”
Michigan: “They’ve been reaching out a good amount and been talking with my family. It’s been a good a school to talk to. They’re a great program with Juwan Howard as the coach and as a school they’re doing well for themselves.”
Arkansas: “They’re a phenomenal school. Coach Musselman reaches out a lot. They always reach out and look out for me.”
At this point of Riley’s recruitment, he is not in decision mode but will start to narrow down schools at some point this season.
“I think I’ll wait until next year to make my decision,” he said. “We’re going to do some cuts this year but for the most part it’s going to be next year probably.”
Riley knows what will be important in making his college decison.
“I’m looking for good academics, good fit, staff and a place I can have fun playing basketball.”

What he did: A 2026 prospect, Andrews is physically developed beyond his years and knows how to use his strong upper body to get to spots and gain an advantage over smaller defenders. He rebounds well positionally, which is at least partially a product of his frame and high-level athleticism.
Andrews was as active as any prospect at the camp, giving maximum effort on nearly every possession and showing off some range shooting the rock from deep.
Recruitment: Programs such as Missouri, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Texas Tech and Illinois are all involved with Andrews at this early juncture. Andrews plays his high school basketball at Little Rock Christian High School, making the in-state Razorbacks worth monitoring closely.

Nigel Walls is the No. 47 player in the 2025 On3 150. The 6-foot-9 forward from Houston (TX) St. Francis Episcopal had a good summer with the JL3 program on Nike’s EYBL E16 Circuit, averaging 9.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks, and 1.0 steals during the regular season. After his showing this summer, Walls was invited to the USA Basketball Junior National Team October Minicamp.
“I’m a taller, two-way player with some versatility,” Walls told On3. “I can defend and shot block, get the ball off the rim, and push the break. I’m a good rebounder as well. I’m seeing improvement now with the work I’ve put into my jump shooting and my ball handling. In the off-season, I’ve been in the gym every day, working, getting up 500 shots. I watch a lot of Brandon Ingram. He is built kind of like me and is able to get to his spots and get up shots.”
On3 caught up with four-star Nigel Walls after a recent live viewing to talk about his recruitment.
“I have not taken any visits yet,” Walls said. “The plan as of now is to wait until next year, maybe the January or February time frame, to start going on visits. I’d say I’m hearing the most from Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Arkansas, and TCU the most right now.”
quote:
Arkansas: “I know a lot about Arkansas, mostly because my mom went there. My grandmother is only a few hours from there. I went by there last year, and that is when I got the offer from Coach (Eric) Musselman. The coaches were great, and so were the facilities. They do a great job of getting players to the pros.”
quote:
“I’m looking for a welcoming environment,” Nigel Walls said. “I want to go to play for a coach who knows what my strengths are. And one who can develop me where I need to work. I want to go to a winning program and play for a coach who knows how to play. Also, my family being able to get to the games will be big for me. Really, just a welcoming environment.
“I’d like to play in a fast-paced structure, where we can get out and run and press. I feel like that is where I’m at my best, getting the rebound and just going.”

Four-star Jalen Shelley signs with Arkansas
Arkansas' first commitment of the 2024 class — four-star wing Jalen Shelley — made it official today with the signing of his National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks.
quote:
Arkansas coach Eric Musselman's first commitment of the 2024 recruiting class has made it official. Coveted four-star wing Jalen Shelley has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks.
Shelley, a native of Frisco (Texas) who has transferred to prestigious Link Academy in Branson (Mo.) for his senior season, initially pledged his commitment to the Hoop Hogs on Sept. 11 over a list of finalists that included Louisville, Marquette, Ohio State, LSU, Colorado, Houston and Texas A&M.
The 6-8 small forward was initially offered by Arkansas following an unofficial visit to campus in 2022 as his brother, Jason, took to the gridiron as Missouri State's quarterback against the Razorbacks. He returned for a second stop in Fayetteville in an official capacity Sept. 8-10.
Shelley has a player rating of 0.9824 and comes in as the No. 49 overall prospect in the nation and No. 13 small forward in his class, according to the industry generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. He becomes the 12th top-100 signee of the Eric Musselman era at Arkansas.
Shelley averaged 18.3 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game as a junior at Prestonwood Christian last season, leading his team to the TAPPS Class 6A State Championship where he scored a team-high 17 points in the title game. He earned district MVP honors and was an all-state selection by the TAPPS and TABC.
SCOUTING REPORT
Shelley is a long and lean lefty forward that is very talented. He has a good feel for the game and shows the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. His offense usually comes in transition where he flourishes and has the insticts to make the right play. The biggest knock on him is his motivation to play with a elite motor. Shelley has the upside to play the game of basketball on an elite level but needs to add more aggression to his play. Asserting himself on a consistent basis and showing progression in transforming his potential into production will be vital and increase his chances of making an immediate impact in Fayetteville. - 247Sports Recruiting Analyst Brandon Jenkins
CLASS CALCULATIONS
With Shelley and fellow four-star commitment Isaiah Elohim on board for the 2024 class, Arkansas currently ranks No. 23 nationally and No. 3 in the SEC in the 247Sports Team Recruiting Rankings. If that holds, it would mark the third time Musselman has secured a top-25 class. Arkansas' player average of 98.40 actually slots in as the seventh-best in the country.

4-star Jalen Shelley officially signs with Arkansas
quote:
Four-star Jalen Shelley is officially part of Arkansas basketball's 2024 recruiting class, as he signed his National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, which was the first day of the early signing period.
A talented wing out of Link Year Prep in Branson, Missouri, Shelley possesses great height and length for his position at 6-foot-8. He fills the versatile wing spot Musselman loves to utilize and will knock down outside shots and even handle the ball on the perimeter. The Frisco, Texas, native is long and athletic with an ability to create for himself and his teammates.
Shelley was once ranked as high as No. 35, but is currently slotted at No. 46 by Rivals. He's part of a Razorbacks recruiting class that ranks No. 18 overall in the country.
Fellow 2024 commit and four-star Isaiah Elohim is expected to join Shelley in signing with the Hoop Hogs today.

Four-star Isaiah Elohim signs with Arkansas
Arkansas' second commitment of the 2024 class — talented four-star wing Isaiah Elohim — has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks.

Arkansas coach Eric Musselman's second commitment of the 2024 recruiting class has made it official. Talented four-star guard Isaiah Elohim has signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Razorbacks.
Elohim, a native of Kingston (N.Y.) who currently resides in Chatsworth (Cali.), initially pledged his commitment to the Hoop Hogs on Oct. 5 out of a trio of finalists that also included Kansas and Villanova. He took an official visit to Arkansas Sept. 15-17.
The 6-5, 190-pound athlete has a player rating of 0.9856 and comes in as the No. 38 overall prospect in the nation and No. 10 small forward in his class, according to the industry generated 247Sports Composite Rankings. He becomes the 13th top-100 signee of the Eric Musselman era at Arkansas.
A five-star talent who has previously been ranked as high as No. 4 in the country, Elohim is on the heels of a junior season at Sierra Canyon (Cali.) High School where he averaged 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists per game. Elohim ran with Paul George Elite 17U on the Nike EYBL during the grassroots season and also participated in the prestigious NBPA Top 100 Camp over the summer.
Prior to transferring to Sierra Canyon, Elohim poured in 20.3 points to go along with more than five rebounds and 2.5 assists per game as a freshman at Northridge (Cali.) Heritage Christian. That summer, he led the EYBL 15U division in scoring at the Nike Peach Jam with 28.5 points per game.
SCOUTING REPORT
A physically strong and tough wing, Isaiah Elohim burst onto the national scene early because of his ability to score from the mid range and around the rim.
At 6-foot-5 he has good length, a strong body and well above average instincts for getting to the rim and scoring around defenders and through contact. He is an effective pull-up jump shooter from 17 feet and in who just needs more reps on his shot to become a more consistent shooter from deep.
Elohim has battled injuries throughout his high school career but when he's available, his toughness, ability to get to the basket and penchant for putting up points in a hurry have always stood out. He's got a college ready frame and projects as an effective wing at the high major level. - 247Sports Director of Basketball Eric Bossi

Four-star guard Isaiah Elohim joined fellow four-star wing Jalen Shelley by officially signing his National Letter of Intent with Arkansas on Wednesday.
Elohim, a four-star guard out of Chatsworth, California, is an impressive midrange threat and scorer around the rim. At 6-foot-5, he has the size and athleticism that most Eric Musselman-coached guards thrive with.
Ranked No. 34 nationally by Rivals, Elohim is the sixth straight signee to be a top-40 prospect. Three of the 2022 signees — Anthony Black, Nick Smith Jr. and Jordan Walsh — were top-25 prospects. Current freshman Layden Blocker was No. 24 in the 2023 class and his teammate Baye Fall was No. 36.
Both Elohim and Shelley give the Razorbacks the No. 18 overall recruiting class in the country.

Tre Johnson to Texas, they're going to be really tough in the SEC.
Quintanence to Kentucky yesterday. Missouri missed on all their big targets and took several projects just to boost rating. And he sucks at the portal. Not sure Gates knows what he's doing but if you don't really know basketball recruiting it's easy to sell at least.

What are we looking like for next year?
Looks pretty certain we'll have
Elohim
Shelley
Blocker
Fall
Menifield
then Pinion - if he doesn't transfer
Mark, Battle and Devo I believe still have eligibility, if they don't like their pro prospects. None of them are projected as 1st rounders as of now.
Muss is definitely going to have to go after some bigs in the portal
