Little misleading there so I didn't post it, only 17 attempts all year. 21 of their 28 games he didn't make or attempt a three.

Shows there's potential for more though in the right lineup

Maybe, just don't think that is his game though. His stats vs awful competition don't really impress me but who knows.
Compare that to Umude who shot 110 at USD before us and 143 with us.

Arkansas has contacted Eddie Lampkin from TCU.
If we pull a Lampkin (6'11 300 lbs) for Kamani I'd be ecstatic. A big guy who can give some minutes around the rim and take on other bigs.
Actually screw that, listened to a interview on his situation. No thanks
Apparently after the big season 2 years ago he got a 6 figure NIL deal and went lazy. Gained weight, wouldn't put in work.

Ha ha
I haven’t kept up with TCU much this year just remembered him going off against Arizona in the tournament last year.
Then I went and read up on the current situation. Classic case of kid gets 100k deal and gets lazy instead of pushing harder to make more money. Then his mom is out there saying Dixon is a racist and used racist comments against him.
No thanks

Apparently Muss is wanting to get Camren Hunter to visit campus before we leave for Las Vegas.
UCA transfer
ASun Freshman of the Year
Bryant, AR
6'3 200lb PG
Averaged 17 points, 5 reb, 4 ast per game on 42/31/79 splits last season
From what I've read he like the point better than anything else. Considers himself a true point guard.

MSB thread says we are in contact with Demarcus Sharp from Northwestern State. 6'3 173, Southland Conference player of the year. 19.5ppg 5rpg, 5apg.
First 2 seasons at Missouri State, the prior year only attempted 11 three pointers. This past season shot 29/53 54% from three so may be coming into that part of his game big time. 81% FT shooter too.

The article I read said we offered. I’m kind of surprised he was that high of a priority but good for him. I’m from Bryant so I’ve followed his career at UCA and I’ve thought Muss might be interested. Definitely his type of guy.

HE shot about 52% from 3 as well.
I'm down for it.

Arizona's Kerr Kriisa has entered the portal

So, what do we think Muss is trying to put together here.
He has a 5* PG and Big man coming in. But he is all over a dawg true PG who can shoot and is probably looking for another big man or two.
Looks like he isn't going to try to rely that heavily on freshmen next year.

Well other bigs they contacted outside of Lampkin is Wofford PF Bj Mack and WY big man Graham Ike. If Ike is truly intersted, I'd love to have him.

Weaknesses the last 2 years were enforcer types like we got with the Mitchell's this year and we have lacked a healthy true shooter since Joe, so I assume he goes after similar type guys as always while replacing the Mitchells with lampkin from TCU or someone similar and adds 1-2 true shooters

Looks like all the guards he is after are all about 6'2" and 6'3" PG range.
Really going to miss having all those huge guards in the backcourt.
I have to small believe though, that Walsh and Devo come back. Crossing fingers on Brazille as well.
