I’m basing it off a vague post that seems skeptical but is this actually being reported anywhere?

247 is where I’ve seen it on both.
On Fall, the Auburn 247 guy is saying that he’s confident they’ll get him. Odd thing to say if he’s allegedly a Hog lock.
On Holland, a 247 guy who is 29/29 on crystal ball picks out one in today for Texas.

His Auburn visit is this weekend so it could easily be him trying to sell him on Arkansas still or it could be that he’s already committed to us and he’s letting the Hog out of the bag. Who knows.

Dang. That would really stink

Guess that blowout loss to Texas sealed the deal for Holland (and maybe an NIL offer too), but we are the better program. Holland will watch us play on TV while Texas is back home at some point in March.

PROGRAMS BEGINNING TO SEPARATE FOR DINK PATE
quote:
Pate finished his second game of the weekend with 27 points, and Rivals caught up with him afterwards. The talented guard said that Arkansas, Kansas, Georgetown, Alabama, UCF, Rutgers and Texas have been recruiting him the hardest as of late. Pate has an unofficial visit to Wichita State on Sunday.

TRE JOHNSON DISCUSSES POTENTIAL VISITS

Johnson, the top-ranked prospect in the 2024 class, told Rivals that he’s not planning on taking any visits in the near future. However, he mentioned that he’s been in talks with Kansas, Arkansas and Kentucky about eventually setting up trips. Texas, Baylor and LSU are also in hot pursuit.

Dink Pate backs up his ranking.
quote:
Dink Pate, a 2024 five-star guard, showed exactly what made him an elite prospect in the latest rankings update. He showed patience as a ball-handler and was methodical in getting to the paint. Pate scored 47 points between two games, most of which came from the paint and weaving through traffic. His outside shot fell much better in the second game than in the first, and he helped lead a comeback win over Haltom in the second half. He totaled 27 points in that contest, and knocked down three shots from the outside. Pate was at his best with a head of steam heading toward the basket, and he threw down some strong dunks in transition in both games.

Tre Johnson displays all his tools.
quote:
Five-star guard Tre Johnson finds himself atop of the Rivals150 for the 2024 class, and he didn’t do anything but back up that No. 1 spot last weekend. While his team lost both games against nationally ranked opponents, Johnson’s skill set was on full display. The 2024 guard can score extremely well from the mid-range and from the perimeter, and he has a very smooth, repeatable stroke. Johnson went 13-of-30 from the field and 7-of-15 from behind the arc over the weekend. He’s able to get to his shots in a variety of ways, creating space off of the bounce and even showing moves out of post-ups.
