Most likely this or someone of Jaylin, JD or Toney are announcing back but seems too early for that.

But when it comes to Muss it might be another big transfer that has been under the radar on reporting.

Assuming Toney and Williams stay, I think Brazile might take Kamani Johnson’s role. I don’t necessarily expect him to get a ton of minutes

We’re just going to be loaded unless we lose a bunch of guys. JWill isn’t coming off the court much and muss will probably want to be guard heavy. Whose minutes do you see him taking?

Brazile very likely starts for us, depending on who else we may get. As of now I'd have him starting.

You don't quite understand how good he is which is why I said to read more. There is a reason everyone wanted him and why scouts drool.

I like Aimaq, he isn't sniffing the NBA though. Two very different ceilings.

Exciting thing about Brazile is we can slot Toney down to more 2. He's an elite defender of guards. We are going to have some crazy lineups next season

I don’t know a whole lot about him, I see he had a good offer list, but looks like he was more of a defensive/rebounding presence than a scorer. That’s why I was thinking an improved version of how we use Johnson

He's a great scorer, was just coming into his game late in the year and that's when he exploded. Massive offensive rebounder too.

That's where this comes in to play

quote:

He made big improvements as the season went on as he averaged 12.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game over the final five games of the season.

He was pretty dominant at times.

Here is the Mizzou thread on him its a good read

Messaged his sister.

She said Mizzou is his dream school and the only way he’d leave is for the NBA.

Thank you Jesus.

We need to go raid ASU's Norchad Omier in portal. Nasty player.

18ppg/12rpb average. Listed as frosh on espn but played last year so idk how that works or error.

21 and 17 in their final game. Had 35 and 13 before that.

Highest scoring games 35,31,29,24,23,23,23,22,22,22,21

Highest rebound games 26,17,17,17,16,16,16,15,15,13,13,13

Guys numbers are eyepopping especially for how dogshit ASU was. Sun Belt Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

They shouldn't be angry because this is the most Missouri's been talked about in late March in years.

Five-star David Castillo lives up to ranking

quote:

David Castillo was terrific for Team Griffin, playing up as a 16-year-old at the 17U level. His multi-level scoring ability and smooth jumper were on full display. He showed off a mature skill set and was always calm under pressure, never letting the opponent speed him up. Castillo had scoring totals of 28, 19 and 14 on the weekend. There’s no question that Castillo is one of the nation’s best in the 2024 recruiting class.

Brandon Garrison remained consistent

quote:

Class of 2023 four-star Brandon Garrison is never going to put up huge scoring numbers on a regular basis, but he does exactly what his team needs at all times. Garrison ran the floor really well, rolled hard off of screens, converted looks at the rim and showed off a versatile defensive skillset.

Garrison’s defense is what set him apart from a lot of the other forwards at the event. His willingness to guard out on the perimeter was second to none this weekend and he was very comfortable away from the basket. He was great in pick-and-roll coverages and provided consistent rim and paint protection all weekend long.

No idea if it’s true or not but someone on 247 said Omier’s early favorites are Arkansas and Tennessee. Wouldn’t think we’d take both him and Brazile but Muss has surprised me before.

Omier is a guy you make room for. Get rid of Kamani Johnson, Jaxson, Arbogast, Vanover, KK. Plenty of options for players to be processed as mean as it sounds.

Walsh is the one most likely to not start day 1 and still the most raw.

I think our dream 5+1 would be

Williams
Brazile
Omier
Smith
Black

Walsh 6th man role.
