He really looks like someone that can be similar to Caleb Martin. Obviously not quite that good but he can basically play every position because he can handle the ball at 6'9''. The kind of players Muss loves in his system. Gives us a ton of roster flexibility as well.

Hope he doesn’t end up like Cylla. He’s definitely got a better skill set than Cylla did. Very good pickup!

Rider grad-transfer Frederick Scott has us in his top 6 with Illinois, Boston College, San Francisco, San Diego, and Illinois State. From Kevin:

quote:

Scott (6-8, 230, natve of Munster, Ill.) averaged 12.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 28.9 minutes while shooting 46.8% field goals (including 40-of-100 from 3 for 40%) and 60.2% from the free throw line ... Scott played in 5 games as a freshman at DePaul in 2015-16 before transferring to Rider ... one season of immediate playing eligibility on '20-21.

He's from Illinois and has two Illinois schools on there so not sure what our chances are but shooting 40% from three at 6'8 is nice.

Another interesting one - tiny but his stats are impressive:

quote:

Cal State Northridge grad-transfer Terrell Gomez has heard from Arkansas, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Arizona State, Iowa State, DePaul, and Washington State according to Wednesday reporting by ESPN's Jeff Borzello ... Gomez (5-8, 160, guard) averaged 19.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 37.1 minutes while shooting 43.9% from the field (including 111-of-252 from 3 for 44.0%) and 94.8% from the free throw line (109-of-115) ... Gomez shot a combined 293-of-672 from 3 (43.6%) in his three seasons at CSN ... one season of immediate playing eligibility on '20-21.

5'8 or 6'8, those are some impressive numbers.

Made the top 4 for Gomez with San Diego State, Washington State and Iowa State. If it were up to me I’d take either him or Turner and call it a day unless there’s another transfer out.

Hmmm, Interesting timing.

Musselman should have the chance to fill that spot with better talent. Powell is a good player but wasn't a top 100 recruit.

1. Arkansas could potentially only have one spot open for the 2021 class
2. They've offered 23 2021 prospects
3. 19 are still available
4. They're all ranked in the Rivals150
5. Five have already visited
6. It's all goooood

True but very unlikely.

Would mean that Joe declares this year or if he doesn't, he would say till Senior year.

Moody would return for his sophomore year.

Nobody transfers out

Agreed here, I don't think Powell was given the "please look elsewhere" but I don't think the staff is upset about it.

Tulsa graduate transfer Jeriah Horne will make his decision Thursday on where he will spend play his last collegiate season, and the Razorbacks are in the mix for the 6-7, 222-pound forward. According to a Tweet from CBS Sport's Jon Rothstein on Wednesday, Xavier, Dayton, Georgetown, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Virginia Tech, Georgia and Colorado have all reached out to the Overland Park (Kan.)

If we were to add him it would mean one of Chaney/Henderson are gone right?

I believe so, unless Joe were to go pro as well.
