Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels
quote:

Western Illinois guard Kobe Webster is in the NCAA Transfer Portal, a source tells @247Sports. Averaged 17.1 PPG this season. Has hit 184 three-pointers in his career. Graduate transfer.

Kobe Webster has already heard from Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Nebraska and Ball State. Would expect him to get quite a bit of interest.

A little old but Arkansas has reached out to Georgia Tech grad-transfer Evan Cole. I think there will be better options out there.

On a different note, this is going to be wild to see how its handle if basketball players are given extra eligibility. I doubt it happens though.

Some mentioned UCA C Hayden Koval who is in the transfer portal too. Played with Mason Jones in prep school and also played with Connor Vanover's brother. 5th in Southland Conference history in career blocked shots.

The Razorbacks have been actively pursuing players on the transfer market, and they were among the first to reach out to Loyola Marymount grad transfer Mattias Markusson.

As a grad transfer, Markusson, 7-3, 261, would be eligible immediately. This past season for the Lions, the Sweedish big man redshirted due to the death of his mother. During the 2018-19 season, he scored 10.2 points per contest on 58.2% shooting from the floor. He brought down a team-high 6.3 boards per game and blocked a team-high 29 shots, as well.

Not one, but two 7'3" guys on the roster? I wanna see it just to see it.

That would be a bizarre turnaround from this year, haha.

That would be cool to see what Muss could do with all options available..

He won 20 games this year.Come on,tell we could add at least six more wins.

Go Hogs!

We go after every transfer initially to get information it appears. The Pittsburgh guard is the only one I've seen claim an offer until maybe this LMU 7'3 guy.

Was it just a random guy?

Still much we don't know happening behind the scenes regarding the roster and how it will change. I doubt Musselman would be seriously considering any of the transfers if its risking roster spots for the unsigned players.

Jalen Harris to the portal.

Wish him the best but makes sense, too many guards that will be above him next year.

I think we now know why Musselman was hitting the portal extra hard. Might end up being 7 new spots total when its all said and done

One of the top graduate transfer bigs in the country has now narrowed his school list down to a manageable number. Yale transfer Jordan Bruner released his top six schools on Friday evening, and that list features some of the top programs in the country.

According to Bruner himself, he is now considering Alabama, Baylor, Maryland, Gonzaga, Arkansas and Louisville.

We missed the cut on Bruner's top 3. Still a ton of transfer prospects out there though. Unfortunately not a whole lot of immediately eligible big men.
