The Arkansas baseball team picked up its first pitcher out of the transfer portal with left-hander Landon Beidlschies from Ohio State on Monday evening. The Razorbacks now have six commits transferring in including Kuhio Aloy, Charles Davalan, Carson Hansen, Maximus Martin and Logan Maxwell.
Beidlschies started 15 times on the mound for the Buckeyes during the 2024 season as a sophomore while posting a record of 6-7 with an ERA of 4.15 through 84.2 innings of work and 91 strikeouts. The Canfield (Ohio) native held opposing hitters to a .231 batting average while allowing 31 walks and 71 base hits.
Beidlschies made 24 appearances (one start) on the bump at Ohio State as a freshman in 2023, where he generated a 4.15 ERA in 30.1 frames while picking up seven saves. He tossed three no-hitters and a perfect game as a senior at Canfield High School in 2022 and was an All-Ohio First Team selection.

Beidelschies seems like a very good pickup. I saw one place had him as the number 3 player available in the portal right now.
Hogs also got another solid portal commit today:

The Arkansas baseball program has landed its second commitment of the day, as Oregon State right-handed transfer pitcher Aiden Jimenez announced his pledge to the Razorbacks following a visit to Fayetteville on Sunday.
A 6-foot-3, 216-pound California native, Jimenez didn't play during the 2024 season due to a season-ending injury suffered in preseason camp. The now redshirt freshman was expected to compete for a starting spot in the Beavers' rotation.
As a freshman in 2023, Jimenez made 22 appearances with one start and tossed 38.0 innings. In that span, he accumulated a 5.68 ERA and a 5-2 win/loss record. Jimenez struck out 35 batters and walked only seven while holding hitters to a .283 batting average.
Jimenez' longest outing came against Sam Houston in the NCAA Tournament at the Baton Rouge Regional, where he threw six scoreless innings with six strikeouts while only allowing three hits.
During the offseason between the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, Jimenez played for the Chatham Anglers in the Cape Cod League, where he threw another 15.2 innings and held a lowly 1.15 ERA.
According to 64analytics, Jimenez is the 812th-best transfer in the portal. The Razorbacks already hold commitments from BYU DH Kuhio Aloy, FGCU outfielder Charles Davalan, Milwaukee outfielder Carson Hansen, TCU outfielder Logan Maxwell, Ohio State LHP Landon Beidelschies, Fresno State outfielder Rocco Peppi and Georgia State shortstop Maximus Martin.

Jimenez did not play for the Beavers in 2024 due to an injury to his throwing arm during the preseason. The Roseville (Calif.) native made 22 appearances (one start) on the mound for the Beavers as a freshman in 2023 and posted a record of 5-2 with a 5.68 ERA while carving up 35 batters in 38 innings of work.

And Grahovac. Kaedon Kent is very underrated as well

Grahovac would be a nice replacement for JSL.
