Anecdotal on call to Mattingly bringing up Urban Meyer compared to Petrino

I called Bo's little fake corporatist arse one afternoon after Bobby was fired, 9 years ago?, whatever, and I made a point that several Arkansas sports media people had gone after Petrino with a vengeance, out of whatever motivation each of them had (simple hate for Petrino, trying to help get Malzhan installed here, etc)

I made the point that other SEC programs/local media would have cooled their jets and played ball in protecting the coach that was doing so well with the program

I mentioned Florida, and that a radio station in Florida had reported that Urban Meyer had, let's call it an "inappropriate relationship" with a football office intern.

Bo Mattingly (a Florida grad) jumped through the roof and began screaming and cut my call off.


So, I don't regret at all saying that a Florida radio station reported it, and I'd like to remind any and all of that story or rumor, or whatever the Florida radio station when with. And I'd mostly like to remind Bo Mattingly himself if he is reading this, that he's a corporatist fake little worm - as he knows - and I'm hoping like crazy that the radio station report from 2010 or 2011 comes back up in this latest saga with Urban Meyer


I'm not hating on Meyer. I'm not even saying it's proper to have covered it up on Petrino's behalf. Just saying, Florida's media did it because that radio report on Meyer got anchored to hell on Google.

Also saying it is always ridiculously noticible the bias of our sports media in Arkansas, whenever they are given marching orders by their big money overlords.

It's not journalism.

We literally had an Arkansas radio talk guy covering for a story on Urban Meyer because the talk radio guy's hate for Petrino or love for Meyer or simply marching orders to hope Malzhan gets installed
