I don’t think you understand all of this is just proving my point. You keep calling everyone else a loser, poser, uneducated in football, and not a good fan.
But you actively cheered against us. You were on a plane and praying it crashed.
When people point out that the game is 60m and not 48m, you say well he did a really good 48m though. Awesome! Now do anything other than let every team we play move the ball against us the whole second half keeping our defense on the field. Can’t really force any 3 and outs, and when we do, we get a penalty that bails them out. But none of that’s Odoms fault because he had a good 48m.

Profiles almost exactly what they've done all year. Start out strong and by the 4th qtr, the defense is literally one of the worst in the country.
It's a combination of no depth and Odom does not profile well when paired with a faster-paced offense. I think that's one reason why Pittman slowed Briles down this year, but it's still not what you'd call a ball-control offense.
Those are just the statistical facts.

I agree to an extent but depth shouldn’t be an issue after only 18 minutes of ball especially off a bye when we should be rested and healthy

Nope, just being realistic. There ain't no sugar coating that one, we got out lucky.
They had 93yds more offense than us, 1.1 yds per play better, 5 minutes more in TOP, 4 more plays and 7 yds less in penalties than we did.
I'm glad we won just as much as the next guy but this win was not one to brag about or do any chest thumping over, we got lucky plain and simple.

I said that one game where KJ just ran the ball up the middle about 10-15 times and handed it off up the middle another 10-15. I said Pittman slowed down Briles, everyone said he would never!
I then said he would to save his defense, and if we don’t fix that depth/coaching Briles would leave and Pittman would bring a run first coach in.

I check over there for fun and it never disappoints. Briles all but has the Uhaul backed up in his driveway over there because Pittboss might have directed him to run instead of pass twice or three times.
everyone over there has a red phone to Pittboss and they all know what he's thinking
except Briles probably has a young wife and kids and is not going to leave a stable upswing at Arkansas for some question mark, especially after he moved to 5 jobs in 5 years previously
and even if UTSA opened, he would not want that job I don't think. He's got too big of a name for that.

I’m not saying he is going to leave for a lesser program and take a pay cut, I am saying he would be guided to take a less G5 job in Texas for about the same money though.
I don’t think a top program wants to touch anyone with his last name until he proves he can run a clean program though, or just becomes so undeniable they have to take notice.
Nicole Auerbach and Bruce Felder of the Athletic have spent multiple podcasts talking about how anyone who hires a Briles is a no good terrible person.

A lesser head coach job at a G5? Yes.
He would get a slight pay bump, but I think if he stays 2 more years and has all his own players, he could get a P5 job. But if he believes he is being held back. Which Pittman admitted to in his postgame interview, when he said Briles had taken off his headset and I was yelling run it run it run it. When KJ did that throw pass interference on 4th down, but it all worked out he said. He has said multiple times my default is beat them up on the line and run it down their throat.
I think Pittman sees the whole team like he should, and he sees when Briles runs out there and scores in 1:30 that it isn’t good for our depleted defense. So he tells him to slow it down. I think that’s when KJ does poor he has too much time in between plays to think instead of reacting. When he runs the 2m, KJ looks invincible.
Which comes back to Odom, if he doesn’t have the depth by the end of next year, I can see Briles leaving. I could also be completely wrong and Briles is just waiting around to be named the next coach, which I would love.
