I’m tired of dwelling on Saturday’s game. Yes, it’s a huge indictment on the season and has me VERY worried going forward. But let’s talk about this weekend. Is this a buzz saw type game like Georgia last year? Or do we have any ability to keep it close?

They only beat Texas by 1 on the road? Maybe there’s hope?

Nah. It's at home and Georgia had one of the best defenses I have ever seen in college last year. I think the line is about right. I see us putting in a good effort but coming up a few scores short.

It was at 14.5 then it quickly jump to 16.5. I expect the line to get closer to 20.

I wouldn't put much in that Texas game. Bama didn't play well. That is the only way Arkansas can beat them and win the turnover margin.

I forgot if it was Saban but they or him said this was one of his better defenses in a while which means it is going to be a long day on Saturday.

That depends if that Bama defense is for real or not. If they were like last year then Arkansas has a shot but if not then it could be over by the middle of the third quarter which Arkansas has been outscored 41-13.

Do you have this for all 4 quarters? Would be very interested to see.

I don't. It was a random stat I found. If you look at all four games and you do notice Arkansas struggling in the third quarter.

It seems Arkansas begins to struggle in the second, they don't seem to make any halftime adjustments and continue to struggle in the third.

Before the season, my gut feeling was that we would finally break that losing streak to Bama.

Now, my gut feeling is to not watch the game because we are going to get lit up like a Christmas tree Saturday.

Which is kind of the complete opposite of what we've seen in the past. We used to start slow and finish strong. Now we start meh, slow down, slow down, then try to play catch up.

I rarely watch the Bama games because it has been so lopsided for so long that it is like watching a person be tortured.

I haven't been able to watch them play Bama at home since 2016. Bama fans are a very obnoxious bunch. One of the stories I got from another message board was someone was at a bus and it was a Bama fan standing up that told everyone on the bus, "I don't know why you hog fans bother showing up, they are gonna lose anyway."

I expect it to be close until halftime. Depth will kill us. If we would’ve beat TAMU I’d say we get blown out....but since we dropped that game I think we put up a good fight, just come up short.

Is there any way to petition not to play a 3rd qtr.

Yeah I don’t know that there any big takeaways. The difference in points allowed between Q1 and Q2 is very surprising, though

The good news is that we did better in the 3rd quarter today.

That’s all of the good news.
