and we're only down 9... and were sitting pretty when it comes fouls until the end.

Sills should have never been in the game at the end with 2 fouls.

They are in our heads now. ALl of the blocks, fouls, and Jones gone.

He is the firey dude we need on the court.

Cal's ejection worked for sure. Damn!

Didn’t have anything to do with cal getting a double tech it had all to do with us being abysmal from the field today. Joe was absolutely non existent

We just couldn’t hit shots, it happens. That’s basketball. We’ll be fine

We were 20-30 from the line. Had we hit 6 or 7 more and Joe not been missing most of the game it’s a different game.

We don’t have the players we need to beat them. We’re unathletic and short.

Basically it’s up to Mason and Jimmy for us to win those type of games. They can both get their own shots. They need to be more selfish when we are struggling.

Isaiah isn’t the guy you want to have the ball when we need a basket. He’s too slow and can’t create. He can get his points, but the other players have to open up his shots by driving and making passes.

I don’t think they came out flat, everyone just had big game jitters. We never overcame them.

yea I'm sure having their routine leading up to the game changed up with the extra fan fare didn't help.

pretty sure it's the biggest game with that kind of circus surrounding it for any of them. combine that with our already built in size and skill disadvantages

great learning experience.

If we aren't hitting our shots, we have a very good chance at losing whoever we are playing.

I know that seems like a "no shite dumbass" type of statement, but it isn't meant to be. We just do not have any size down low that can grab a board and go right back up with it to provide scoring when we are missing. Just don't have it this year. If Joe and Jones can't get their shite together, we very may well lose two in a row at home.

Overall though, we have played 17 games and are 14-3. I never would've put money on us being 14-3, thats for sure.

You still don't know what you're talking about saying this. Joe is great off the dribble. He's actually one of the best guards in the college game when it comes to shooting percentage off the dribble. Look it up and stop being ignorant.

Muss said on the pregame with Chuck he let the team decide their schedule today. I bet he don’t do that mess again.

Also we need to wear the throwbacks and nothing else.

I said earlier in the season that we wouldn't be able to compete with Kentucky and Miss State. Likely that goes for South Carolina too. Muss has over achieved with the talent he has. Its as simple as that. We don't have the big guy we can go to the paint for and get an easy two. Whitt being off is what lost this game as much as anything. If he is hitting his short floaters then eventually Joe gets an open look or two.

Whitt had what 30 last outting? Must have got worn out after hitting so many shots... Don't worry we will be better once we add some size.

We got UK’s A game today. They wanted this game bad otherwise Cal doesn’t lose his shite. We don’t have the horses yet to beat a top ten playing thier A game.

Cal did a good job today. The Strollin' Nolan tactic worked like a charm.

That's OK though. Even with this loss Arkansas has a better record than Kentucky. More than any X's and O's they'll learn from this game, our guys needed to be in that atmosphere. They were cold because of it. Fans in line at 3:30am? They haven't seen that. It was a lot of pressure. And the team they played was good.

There's several things that could have gone differently. Bailey missed the front end of a one-and-one when we had a chance at a 5 point play. Mason Jones was obviously Kentucky's key focus and when the rest of our guys couldn't live up to the moment it allowed Kentucky to lock Jones down. He may as well have not even been out there.

They needed that stage. I think losing that game may have been a good thing for this team in the long run.

Mississippi State is about to get wrecked.

A team needs 4 pieces to beat Arkansas this year.

They need a good big man and three good guards. And by good I mean bordering on great guards. Kentucky has that.

This game was an uphill battle from the jump for our team because our team's entire strategy this season is to deny the feed into the post and Kentucky is the type of team that has enough guards that they can feed it to the post no matter what.

Our guys folded under the spotlight. That's okay though, because next time they may not be so quick to fold. Next time maybe our shooters aren't all cold.

Trust me, Kentucky is thankful they got that win. Cal had to get himself ejected from the game to get it done.
