I have very little knowledge of the formations, etc. Never played anything except 7 on 7 a bit...
So this has been an education for me, if you will.
But this I know, anyone who has a decent passing game against our secondary will be a threat. We have had way too many over the top options available for the opposing teams.
But I also get that we are banged up and low on depth as well. Not screaming at all, thankful we finally have more than a pulse as a program

Reverend, I remember one week in 2006 or 2007 when the adult diaper industry was at an all time high because of Razorback football fans
One week in particular I think on Hogville, tardville, the place we DONT WANT TO BE, there was screaming and gnashing of teeth over our secondary coverage. It was Saturday night and Sunday on the message boards, and Lord God have mercy, our defensive backs were the absolute worst unit that ever graced a football field, according to our fans on not just one message board
Then the cumulative stats for the season come out on Sunday night or Monday morning, and low and behold we had the 2nd ranked pass defense in America. Just the pass defense, no commentary on the entire defense. Can't remember the week or year, but it was probably 2006 when we were top 25 in total defense for the year
it's an anectdotal remembrance
so even though it will cause extreme grief to some here, if I see a ridiculous thread on here that I suspect came from tardville, I will waltz my arse over the tardville and find my evidence that people here are bringing that shite over there over here

Sure. And so Odom has us heavily slanted to defend the pass against Ole Miss, as he should have
our precious 4 man defensive line was certainly visible against Georgia Southern because of their two backs in the backfield
and certainly Lane Kiffin's offense did not look like that at all, so we schemed it differently, as Coach Odom should have done

So let me get this straight. You think when someone says “3 man front” they’re talking about only 3 people playing the run? In what universe? Even in a quarter defense you have 3 rushers and a backer so people would always be in a 4 man front. Think about what you’re saying for a second. In your mind then there can only be 4 man fronts (dime, quarter defenses), 5 man fronts (dollar, nickel defenses, 3-2-6) 6 man fronts (4-2,3-3) and then 7 man fronts (4-3,3-4). In this world you’ve imagined where whenever people say front they’re talking about anyone who is playing run first, then the term 3 man front would have never come into existence. You are literally living in fantasy land. At this point you are so set on being right you are refusing to admit there was a semantics difference and that we are really just talking in circles about the same shite( which is what we are doing by now) or you are trolling. Btw I’ve never said we should fire Odom, Odom is a good coordinator, and I’ve never been on hogville, so stop making shite up to argue on the internet about.
