Nate Thompson being allowed anywhere around Baum Walker for the last 5 years should be a fireable offense.

Nah it's not Gaeckle's fault. I just don't get how a team can have such drastic righty/lefty splits and you opt to put in a righty that they just saw for 90 pitches less than a week ago when one of your best lefty relievers has barely been touched this post season. I will never understand this move win or lose. It makes no sense.
