At least Holt could move over to 2B and probably get a better bat in for Stovall with Sprague-Lott or Robinett at 3B

Jesus Christ. Stovall has been killing it too.

Looks like this is late news to come out, he broke it last week in the scrimmage. So should only miss a few weeks total of the actual season.

Seems like no big deal and wasn't a bad break at all ie no surgery.

On the one hand, I hope so.

On the other hand, I could see this leading to him having a slow start and “needing some time to find his rhythm.” Then all of the sudden we’ll be halfway through SEC play wondering if he’ll ever find it again.

Probably fatalistic but I’m a hog fan.

Yeah baseball is weird, absolutely no telling. Could come back and be his first round pick self mashing then fall off late or the other way around.

And DVH will do exactly this even if the offense is rolling

Coaches poll predicts Hogs to repeat as SEC champs. Hagen and Diggs first team all SEC.

"I think fans have the misconception that Arkansas is football country with the success that programs had"

What planet has he been on

Phil and Bubba's first podcast of the season dropped yesterday. They do a weekly one, for those of you who don't know. It's called Bases Loaded.

Phil thinks we have the best pitching staff in the country.

"God's Gonna Cut You Down" for Hagen Smith. That's hard as hell

Phil is the more realistic one of the two. I love Bubba, but he's the eternal Hog baseball sunshine pumper.

For Phil to say it, the only way to decipher it is that our pitching staff is going to skull copulate SEC batters.

I'd say the top pitching staffs among the general consensus are WF, us, and LSU. And like the Hogs, LSU has to figure out the offense this year.
