Stovall looks so smooth and locked in already you'd never have known he's missed most of the season.

Holt stays locked in at plate as usual.

I want so much for that kid to have a hell of a season. Get his draft stock back up to where he was so he doesn’t lose out on much $$.

#51 ranked recruit, and we have #57 and #58 yet to pitch this year due to injury.

And #409 is out here locking down the midweek starts and is pitching as good as anyone. This freshman pitching class is something.

Something I found interesting with this team so far...

Free Passes: 110
Strikeouts: 103

This team has walked or gotten HBP more times than they have struck out so far this season.

The year we were number one most of the season, we had a lot of walks. We were very patient at the plate. Didn't hit for a high average, as a team, but the team's OBP was really high.

Still makes me want to vomit that we were paired with NC State, and then Miss State gets bailed out from playing NC State in Omaha by the bull shite Covid bug.

Gets so much undeserved shite from our fans.

He's done an incredible job and is a tremendous recruiter.

What he did last year with all of our pitching injuries was nothing short of amazing. Wiggins, Carter, Frank, Tygart, et al. missed most, or part of the season and we still won the SEC despite ranking 10th or worse in the conference in BA, OBP, slugging, hits, XBH, and total bases.

I've said it before and I’ll say it again, but I’ll never forgive that offense or Nate Thompson for leaving Kopps out to dry in game 3.

Kopps pitched the game of his life after having pitched 2 innings the day before, and they couldn't get him 3 fricking runs.

Still pains me to this day that Kopps got the L on that game. Seeing him stay afterwards and sign autographs for kids and just to soak in the last minutes at Baum

I have two kids and if they turn out to be anywhere near the person that Kopps is, I'll be proud.

I'm too arnery, cuss too much, and like to sip bourbon and beer. My kids probably have too much of me in 'em

Also, Eli Lovich, the youngest one yet, is a class of '25 Hog commit.
