Biggest disappointment on the staff TBH.
He's a senior who'd pitched in 43 games in his career coming into this season. He was supposed to be a reliable innings eater out of the bullpen, not pitching batting practice.

Laughable.
Say what you want about Cali (I certainly have), but he at least has power and has gotten above the Mendoza Line.

100% agree. We’re going to have to have him figure it out if we’re going to withstand all the pitching staff injuries.

Agreed.
Given how McEntire has struggled to make it past 2-3 innings, and given the struggles of our bullpen (especially now that Frank and Tygart went down), it's imperative we find that guy who can come in and eat innings in long relief as well as be a trusted, experienced arm in the pen given all the youth there.
For all his faults, Ramage did a pretty decent job of this last year down the stretch. There were several games Wiggins didn't make it to the 3rd inning where Ramage was called upon for early relief. We need Morris to step up in that role.

Ramage didn't get enough credit for his ability to eat innings. He would usually last long enough to let the closer get in there and finish things up.

It's a broadcast production issue. Softball SEC opener and the gymnastics meet in Bud Walton got priority today.

Oh look. Cali failing to convert another play at 3rd.

Going from Wallace and Battles (offensively and defensively) to Cali and Bolton has been a profound drop-off.
The infield equivalent of going from Petrino and JLS.

Hurts to even think about it that way. Sad but true though.

It'd be such an easy move to DH if Diggs wasn't mashing. I understand the predicament but 3rd is not the spot for a defensive liability. Gotta figure something out one way or another.

Jones can't be worse defensively. Ain't no frickin' way.
