Speculation is both SC and Arizona coaches don't want the game starting if any threat of delay during the game.
Tough fricking shite. Why do they have that kind of power? If it's not raining start the damn game.

seriously. Of course they're going to want to drag things out, they shouldn't have that option unless we allow it

Sorry Arkansas, we know you busted your arse all season and performed when you had to to earn a hosting advantage, but the 3 and 4 seeds in your regional don't want even the possibility to get damp so we're going to let them dictate the entire schedule of your regional.

fricking ridiculous.

Looking at the radar pissed me off even more. What minuscule amount of rain there is in NWA only just formed there and is moving AWAY from Fayetteville.

There's just no excuse.

Arizona/Santa Clara could have very easily started at 6:30pm and Ark/TCU would have had a first pitch around 10-10:30. Would’ve been late for sure but it would’ve left the schedule in tact and Baum would’ve been raucous

The winning team tonight now has the advantage of more rest in tomorrow's elimination game. Think the two coaches, playing tonight, didn't scheme that while they were hem-hawing about weather? Basically will be a double header for either TCU or Arkansas.

I don't think it really matters. Neither Arkansas or TCU is losing to Santa Clara and Arizona is the worst team in this tournament and deserves a 5 year postseason ban for their turrible showing in this tournament

It’s all good- I was really just confused on the schedule after our game but I got it now. Win and we don’t play again til tomorrow.
