I mean nobody here should be surprised. DVH said he was setting it up where Hollan could potentially pitch Sunday night and would be the starter Monday if we needed him.

Burning MC today was going to happen either way. We essentially used up only Mac today so the all but one pitcher is still available.

Per DVH, Holt should be good to go for tomorrow

Yep.

Run out Smith tomorrow and get 5-6 out of him. Maybe 7 if we are lucky, but a lot of times Smith will throw a ton of pitches. So I lean that way. Hopefully we are winning at that point and bring out Morris. Hopefully Morris can carry it home. If not, hope we have a decent lead and Wood can get 3 outs and get confidence back.

That will leave Tygart and the rest left for ending the regional on Sunday.

I know you’re a good one. I was fricking with you.

I still stand by my statement.

Also the 2 up and 2 down on my statement is pure truth for Arkansas fans

I think he’s a bigger piece than people give him credit for. I’d like to have him available but someone had to clean up after Hollan.

Kinda changing the subject and I'm not sure if I just haven't paid enough attention, but I noticed the logo on the brick wall in right field. Not sure when that happened but I'm a big fan of the addition. Gives it a bit more life out there.

I don’t disagree, but between Hollan and McEntire, one of them would have been burned in this game either way.

Either Hollan goes long and he’s done for the weekend, or Mac comes out of the pen in long relief and gets spent for the regional (which is what happened).

This way Hollan can come back and pitch again if needed similar to Hagen last year in Stillwater last year.

I actually wouldn't doubt if McEntire comes in even for 1 or 2 innings in Game 3 or ,God forbid, a Game 4. He'd tell DVH he'd be good to go.

How can anyone not root for Oral?

Serious question.

It was hilarious to watch, their fans looked about as pissed as last year. Same old guy right behind the plate throwing his hands up.

Riggio was 0/4 with 3 K's too.

Wild that ORU's best team in many years was still a 4 seed. And a yearly good program too.

Tonight did not do anything to quell my fears about TCU. They can rake.

Arizona isn't much, though. Wouldn't surprise me at all if SC took them out.

TCU will most definitely be a tough out.

What happens (NOPE!!! Not gonna) if we go 4 games with our pitching?

4 games doesn't worry me as much since Hollan's got quite a bit left in the tank after today. I'm terrified of the prospect of having to play 5 games to win the regional, though. Tomorrow is a massive game for us.

TCU can hit, but Arizona was also the last team in the tournament and with a major weakness of...pitching.

Pretty sure we would have also scored at least 10+ off Zona tonight.
