Well...he had been looking better in last 2 or 3 outings. So, I had considered him more reliable lately and was hoping one of the freshman would get some playing time with that kind of lead.
Also, don't understand why we pitched McEntire 20 pitches too long.

Holt supposedly gave a thumbs up like he was going ok. Maybe muscle tightness/cramp since it's hot out there...

I also don't think being critical of the shaky part of the bullpen is anything new. Wanting meaningful contribution out of someone out of borderline necessity and not getting it is going to get brought up and fleshed out for strategical purposes. Wouldn't exactly call it a melt.

Yeah we're in good shape. Basically saved Hollan for Mac. Didn't have to use Tygart, Morris or Wood.

Good win today. Cannot win them all in a regional without winning the first one. Essentially McEntire and Hollan has swapped spots. Hollan should be available again if it there is a long relief spot in game 3 on Sunday.
