Amazing what having a true PG that's also unguardable does for an offense.

This team today looks more like what we wanted and expected, like a deep run in March kind of team.
I'm sure there will be a setback or two along the way, there's bound to be at least one or two more "wtf?!?" losses. Seems like Menifield makes a HUGE addition that we were missing, but we'll just have to see how it plays out

The defense is still awful but maybe this team is getting better

The defense even has flashes, just very inconsistent. Graham seemed to struggle a lot today defensively

Man you have some of the wildest takes. Mark is way better offensively than anyone could have expected. He's going to be our Jalen Tate down the stretch

Small sample size but menifeild looks superior to Ellis/Davenport/Battle in every way.
Still wish we had a bruiser down low but all the other parts are there.

Menifield has vision and quickness... It was a joy to see him go live. Devo did well tonight too... Graham was fun to watch, and Mark was good IMHO.
But Menifield has something special to his demeanor that makes them all better.
Brazil? Man, he just half way plays it seems. Like the dude, and his attitude a bit... but half effort it seems. Perhaps it is the competition, perhaps he is still favoring his injury... IDK!

Strong agree with this. Mark has been incredible this year.

IMO Muss took a bit of a gamble this season. For the last 2-3 years, we’ve had teams that have had fantastic defenses but really struggled offensively at times, especially from the perimeter. So this year, instead of bringing in exclusively airtight lockdown defenders in the portal and trying to get them to gel in order to score, Muss is doing the opposite this time around. Brought in some more scorers and is going to rely on their natural ability to score and attempt to get them to gel defensively along the way.
I don’t know if it’s working or not. But I can appreciate the change/gamble. I trust Muss will get them to buy in more defensively as the year goes along.

I think, mentally, Brazile is still being cautious some and learning to completely trust his knee.

I hope this is the case, and he gets stronger and more confident. When he hung on the rim way too long, and he came down... He tried to act like he didn't showboat... He did, lol... It was funny to see him look towards Muss and then walk off smiling with his head down.
