It was a strange game, crazy physical but the refs were way more strict with Auburn on both ends. There were some trips where aggy was getting away with murder and everybody in the gym was waiting for a whistle.

I’ll give Devo credit, he’s working his butt off to try and win these games. And he’s improving offensively. Good job.

He's stepped up as the leader on this team so I say let him ride.

He's the one who called the time out when LSU when on that run to start the second half. Said they needed to settle down and regroup and Muss wasn't going to do it so he did.

I hope these guys can finish strong this year. It's not going to be easy, but if they just give it 100 percent and stick to the game plans it can be done.

Hopefully Nick will make a return and give us our best chance.

If nick comes back, I expect it to take a few games to get going.

If he does come back, hopefully he can mesh in well with the team chemistry just in time for the NCAAT, if we make it.

Ladies lose at home to unranked Alabama.

How in the world do you give Neighbors a 7th year with how this is going? Because he got another big in state recruit any decent coach could keep home?

Until Neighbors figures out his system won't work and he needs to go get some big girls to body down inside for 30 points a game it won't matter.

You can have the best guards in the world but without that you'll be nothing more than a regular women's program.

Go look at LSU, SCAR, and any other team whose been top 5 in the last 10 years. All led by big girls down low.

Late Wednesday afternoon, former Arkansas national championship coach Nolan Richardson proclaimed his love Razorback guard Davonte Davis one of his all-time favorite players while talking with DriveTime Sports on 103.7 The Buzz in Little Rock..

"Devo to me has always been one of my all-time favorites because he's one of the few in the country who plays so hard on both ends," Richardson said. "A lot of guys play hard on one end and play pretty good on the other, but he plays hard on both ends of the floor and he's relentless."

Notice he said all time favorite players not all time best players.....

Just cause Nolan likes your effort doesn't mean the stat sheet is showing up right

With that said i also love Devo when he's not being a fricking moron.

Yeah when he takes good shots and limits the turnovers, he's one of our best players

WVU up 45-29 on Auburn at half.

Creighton up 42-28 at half over #13 Xavier.

Checked on Creighton recently and saw they beat St Johns 104-76 last game.

He also said those are the guys that win you championships and compared him to Corey Beck.

quote:

"Those are the kind of guys who win you championships," Richardson said. "You've got a few of those on the team."

While the 90s Razorbacks didn't have captains, they did have natural leaders. For the national championship team, it was Corey Beck, whom Richardson sees a lot of in Davis.

Rooting for the SEC today. I like that conference prestige matters more in basketball
