The disaster scenario is we burn out go NIT fans bitch and complain and Muss leaves for Texas.

I could 100% see this happening.

Good God guys get it together.

Last year we got thumped by hofstra at home. I was there. I thought that team would win 5 sec games. They went to the elite eight.

I don’t think he’s saying that should happen. Just that it could.

100% on the Muss bus here. We could lose out and it wouldn’t change my opinion. So many new guys and lost our 2 best players. The only thing surprising about this team falling apart right now is how long it took for it to happen

Right, that would be absolute worst case.

As for the excuses that we'll gel like previous teams I caution that our previous teams didn't lose their top 2 players to injury and that if you take away Williams and Notae last year it's probably about the same.

Not saying we'll necessarily recover to the same extent as previous teams, but I still do think we'll get better

Well, honest question here... Can we possibly get worse?

Lost to LSU, and now Vandy after acting like idiots.?

Dude, nowhere but up... right?

Pouring over the boxscore isn't something I suggest.

Q: Were Ford's minutes 100% when Black sat? 16 mins, 0 points, rbs, assss

I don’t think the box score is accurate. I don’t remember Ford playing that many minutes.

post game notes from arkansasrazorbacks.com

Arkansas’ starting lineup was Anthony Black – Davonte Davis – Ricky Council – Makhi Mitchell – Makhel Mitchell for the first time this season.

Arkansas won the tip.

Tyrin Lawrence (Vandy) scored the first points at 18:21.

Arkansas’ first point came from Makhi Mitchell at 17:56.

Kamani Johnson was the first Razorback sub.

Makhi Mitchell hit his first 3-pointer – and first attempted – this season. He has made eight for his career.

Arkansas falls to 8-1 this season and 64-4 in the Musselman era when leading at the half. Coach Musselman’s college teams are 148-8.

The 97 points allowed are the second-most by an opponent in the Musselman era. (Georgia scored 99 in Athens on Feb. 29, 2022.)

The last time an opponent scored 60-plus points in a half was on the Hogs was Feb. 28, 1996 when Alabama scored 60 in the first half.

Ricky Council IV, the SEC leader in minutes, played all 40 minutes at Vanderbilt. He has played all 40 minutes in regulation four times and played all 20 minutes of a half 15 times.

Devo Davis played all 20 minutes of the second half. He has played all 20 minutes of a half six times this season.

Since Vanderbilt had a “Black Out” game, Arkansas wore its home white uniforms. Specifically, the standard “Razorback” jersey. It was Arkansas’ first loss in the Musselman era while wearing those uniforms, falling to 2-1 this season and 19-1 overall.

Arkansas lost despite scoring at least 80 points. In the Musselman era, Arkansas is 35-5 when scoring at least 80 points.

I think we need a true rotation at guard. We have 5 guys rotating at the 4 and 5. We have 3.1 guys rotating at the other 3 spots.

Vandy had 10 threes and made 29 free throws. That’s sloppy guard play on defense.

Pinion needs to play and be more than a decoy on offense.

I'd like to see this lineup eventually

NSJ
Pinion
Council
Graham
Makhi

2 defensive liabilities but we're allowing almost 100 to Vandy anyway.

Black rotating in frequently as 6th man for Pinion and Council

When we want to go more defensive, Walsh in for Graham, Devo in for Pinion
