One thing is for sure watching other teams even top teams, we aren't the only ones that can't shoot.

I think someone brought up the theory (which seems to have merit) that the superstar athletes didn't need to be great shooters in high school. They could just romp up and down the court. Now they're playing teams that can more evenly match that athletic ability and suddenly you can't just roll out on the court and run over people.

If we had everyone on this team for at least two years we'd be one of the most dangerous Arkansas squads of all time. Instead we're having to do a lot of on the job training.

After watching Kansas and OU I still think we have a long way to go to be as polished as that Kansas team. They move the ball exceptionally well and run the floor flawlessly. Having a couple of shooters obviously helps.

If we are going to make a deep run it's going to be by bullying people. Certainly ain't gonna be from dropping bombs from 3 and beautiful half court offense.
We better get used to ugly basketball because that's the best chance for this team to win.

Sounds like some blue chip prospects in attendance. Really need to show up and show out. Hopefully a win aint hard to find. We hit on our visits last year for big games.

Are they shooters? Because if they have watched this team, they should know they can get on the court if they are shooters with D.

What game did you watch?

Kansas went 13 minutes in the second half last night without making a FG. At home.

How strange does it look with that Hunt couple hanging with Muss and his wife all the time? God bless them. We need donors like that but it just feels off a touch.

And when they turned it on they were a machine. They did sleepwalk for a lot of the game. I'll give you that.

Yeah LSU and Creighton ain't gonna do us any favors. HOgs just gotta start winning. Tonight would be huge if they can pull it off, somehow.

I am not confident

Good grief. Thank goodness they weren't at home for those two but a bad look nonetheless.

Yeah, I keep telling myself it's an adjustment period without NSJ and Brazile. It will click soon.

What do we tell ourselves when Nick is back and they have Gel’d but now can’t with Nick?

I just looked at Caesar’s, BetMGM, etc and it’s seems now Hogs are favored now between 1 and 1.5. Interesting.

Good luck tonight, Hawgs. Reading the last couple pages, y'all may be a little worried about your season, but we're worried about tonight at Walton. 19k screaming fan in a ranked matchup, y'all are going to be tough. Looks like the line reflects that.

Good news for you is that I don't think I've seen us play zone all year. We do play good defense, as were #11 in adjD on KenPom and Torvik.

We are particularly good at defending the 3. But apparently that's not your game. Inside, it is less consistent. We've done well at times, but a string post player can hurt us. But our length and athleticism is good at stopping guys driving the lane.

Overall, we are significantly better than last year's squad, in pretty much every aspect. But this is definitely 1 of our 2 toughest remaining games, so Bama fans are definitely nervous. I just hate y'all have been bitten by the injury bug. We know that pain all too well. I'm just looking forward to a great game with big SEC title implications.

Once again, good luck.
