If Nick comes back in mid January and actually stays through the rest of the season, we'll be a team no one wants to see in March especially, if we lose a few early conference games and get a little bit lower seeded bc of it.
If the constant remains that he stays out, I think we'll be lucky to be a 4 seed. Graham and the other Mitchell need to step up mightily for this team to go deep. Devo needs to be NCAAT Devo from here on out as well.
RC4 won't be as cold many nights like last night.

Not a lot of rent a wins in the conference either.
Appears Mizzou and Miss State will be pretty spicey.

12-17 to 1-4 (missouri) is 18 days.
Will that be enough load management for nick?

Took in the womens game tonight. Woof. Was expecting so much more. I’m not sure what to think of Neighbors style. Seems like a poor man’s Mike Anderson. Tons of talent…but he seems to just roll the ball out and say go get ‘em.

Hawgeye, with Muss losing the 1st game in conference against a new HC at LSU... 1st conference, with this incredible talent... We should be asking for heads to roll, right?
/S
I find it ironic that Sam wins and crap rolls... Muss loses and all is right in the world. I get the history, but damn!

Neighbors sucks. Terrible X's and O's GameDay coach.

Meh, was a 3 point loss on the road. First true road environment for the pups. Being 0-1 in league play during December doesn’t mean anything. Get right game next Wednesday at home against Missouri.

Looks like Brazile had surgery today. Hopefully, he returns next season and is back to full health. I'm sure it will be mental from there.

Muss starting with a whole new team. I've said all off-season it will take awhile for them to gel. Took awhile last year and those guys had experience playing with each other.
Hopefully these guys figure it out by March.

I think the book is out now on the Hogs. Pack the paint, they aren't going to kill you from the outside.
Losing Brazile and Smith really aggravated the problem there.
Hopefully we can figure out a way to counter that tactic.

Its just baffling that we have this many high-caliber players that are so bad at shooting 3's

Yeah I seent it. I was just reiterating your point in case any Tardville lurkers are watching

That's why I say Walsh needs to shoot 3s. I will take ~25%. Benefit of softening the lane outweighs some misses

Deep down I was hoping this might be a 30 win team that wins the SEC and gets a 1-2 seed.

UCONN loses to Xavier on the road.
Baylor gets blown out by Iowa State.

It'll be interesting to see if he stays or not, I would guess right now Brazile is back.
He had just started getting 1st round buzz and since the injury has fallen completely off the draft boards including 2nd round. He has a ton to gain by coming back and still needed another year of development he won't get this year now.
Brazile and Fall would be a really good combo next year.

Brazile
Fall
Blocker
Walsh ?
Council
Devo
Mitchell twins + Graham should have an extra year of eligibility (covid year)
Pinion
Ford
Dunning
+ a big time transfer grab
That would be a nice roster for next year. I'm hoping we don't have as much turn over as last year

There's still a chance of Ron Holland if Beard gets fired
ETA: Walsh and Council are projected first rounders I think they're gone
