Yeah, they have just hit a rough patch but I will be suprised if they were not competing with UConn for the Big East
Idk, to me Creighton played us like a team at their ceiling. They were good but they aren't gonna shoot much better or be more in sync than they were when they played us.

Well they are really fricking us by losing so much

They shot lights out and we were called for many fouls. The fact we kept it close is a testament to the team and coaches.
It’s a shame the wheels are falling off for them.
I guess this and losing Brazile is why we dropped a spot in the rankings. But I’d rather be at 10 right now than top 5 because this team needs to earn it rather than speculation putting them there.

They played really well but they have enough pieces to be threats every night. Kalkbrenner out the last two games, a loss against a very good Arizona and close loss at Texas. The only really bad loss in their stretch is Nebraska when all of that is considered. Even all of that considered, they have had some bad luck as well in this losing streak. Outside of that Nebraska loss, 4 losses by 12 points. They just are not catching many breaks right now.
I'll change my tune if they are struggling when healthy in Big East play.

I don't think they're playing anywhere near their ceilng in the losses here.
What i mean is that night i saw a team shoot lights out and move the ball extremely effectively. They would be a tough matchup for anyone when they play like that.
Once kalkbrenner returns and they start running i expect they'll start playing that well again. when they're playing that well they can beat lots of teams. I just don't think they're going to get that much better during the season overall. i think we saw a senior team execute extremely well.
Compare that with us. We played ok but didn't have arguably our best player, we starting several freshmen, and it was early in the season. That's a big advantage and setup for creighton. they barely beat us.

I don't disagree that we certainly have more room to grow. I just see alot of "Creighton exposed" stuff (not here) and I think some are just looking at 5 losses in a row and writing them off.
Hell, they have another tough game on Friday.

Didn’t we have a streak like this last year when we entered SEC play?
Too early to write them off….

Coach Muss Simmons Bank Arena is as loud a building as he's heard

Hopefully concession lines are improved this year to those going. Went to get hot dogs/couple drinks for the family right before half, didn’t get back to seats until 9 min left in second half. That said I didn’t miss much apparently from our team

As usual, no tv in Alltel arena.

Because they have to force people to go to that “super fun better than NWA arena”

no, no they don't. Man, this is so wrong.
Simmons Bank Arena holds some incredible concerts and events. It is great for Central Arkansas.
I recently saw the Eagles there. SOld out and wonderful show for 3 plus hours. THe problem with broadcasting there is the wiring isn't set up for the SEC network to be able to do so. WWE has the correct equipment, but not the incredible SEC.
It would still sell out with a team and coach like we have if televised.

Does anyone actually say things like that unironically?

Sounds like BS. If they can have multicam podcasts ran by a switch board from Fry’s and a MacBook, I think they can figure it out.

SECN has broadcast games before its the university that keeps saying they aren't set up for the arena.

same thing....
TO be honest, not sure about presently... but at one time they were using the same equipment provided by the network for the broadcasts. When they changed to all digital and UHD or VHD can't remember, Verizon wasn't set up for it
Anywho... Simmions Bank Arena Rocks.
Now back to regularly scheduled bitching...

Sellout in little rock on tv would just end up with people watching it in the parking lot on tv drunk more than in the stadium.
I submit as evidence exhibit A: the golf course
