Wish pinion would get some minutes in these games where he might be able to hold up on defense.

Drive and kick between smith and black is salty.

We just don’t have a consistent threat to keep defenses honest.

Gotta be honest. Smith is underwhelming. No burst. Is a volume scorer. Not able to get to the rim in non sec play. He's obviously a great college player but black is the man

Smith is playing himself into game shape. When he gets there I’ll judge him.

Not saying he can't improve but I just don't see it yet. Looks like a poor man's Eric Gordon. I do like his energy. But a top 5 pick I need to see top tier athletic ability or elite skill I don't see it yet

NBA isn’t drafting him for now.

Look at Devin Booker.

Smith’s talent is obvious but I think the offense flows better through black. We seem to get easier shots when black is distributing.

Were you replying to me?

I know he’s a top talent. Needs to add some strength but that comes naturally in the next 2-3 years.

Super rare for dudes to be physically NBA ready at 18.

Have no clue why Davis, who is clearly the most erradic and least athletic rotational backcourt player on the team, is ever running the point on this squad... Ever.

I also think the team actually looked more tenacious when Ricky was the focal point of the offense and would take over games.

Could all just be an adjustment period with NSJ coming in the lineup, but it seems like they are far more willing to sit bsck and play soft and settle for bad jumpers/3s instead of attacking and attacking and attacking like they did with Council/AB as the primary guards.

It pains me to say this, but I hope Muss seriously curbs Devo's minutes. He killed us offensively last night.

Do we have anyone who can consistently knock down 3s against a zone?

Im fine with him getting 20 minutes, but needs to know his role, period.

He is NOT in there to be the leading field goal shooter.

Defense and rebounding, thats it. His scoring needs to come from put backs and wide open shots when our legit scoring threats are doubled down. This aint complicated.

Last night seemed like Muss was trying to make a point with him.

I agree. 3-13 shooting when AB, NSJ, and Council are on the floor.
