Not a big fan of running the clock out there. We stole another possession from ourselves

Everything about that possession was an abomination.

It’s bizarre. They’re loaded with talent and can’t do shite.

If we had made our FTs at a normal rate and shot 35-40%, we’d have win by 5-10.

Not too mad about it other than the bad shot at the end.

Could have easily been blown out by 15-20 and we held tough.

Especially considering they were still in the one-and-one. Even if they hit two free throws we'd still have a chance to tie

Yeah I wasn’t as impressed with Bama as I was expecting to be.

Horrible shot selection by Notae. I still think with this team not calling a time out and setting something up is a huge mistake on Muss part.

Last year he had guys who were smart in that situation. This year not so much.

Notae should have been able to recognize he has two guys in his area and somebody else was wide open.

It's been a constant under Muss. Take a last second three with whoever inbounds the ball.

That's ok in the NBA where you play 80+ games and nothing matters but the playoffs, in college these games could decide your seeding and bracket.

It’s crazy to watch us in one possession type situations vs other teams. I remember when we played A&M a few games back, Buzz drew up a beautiful play design and their guy buried the 3 to tie it up. I remember thinking I sure wish we would do that sometimes instead of just jacking up a 3.

One of the negatives with Muss that we have to live with cause I don't think its changing. I don't mind the iso with certain players to end the game because we have seen it work. JD just wants to be the guy so bad that he was shooting that with 5 people on him.

We just took the number 1 team to OT on 1 procession game and won.

It was poor execution from Notae. Muss calling a time out and drawing up some pipe dream play doesn’t change players executing.

Muss doesn’t call TOs there. Have y’all not watched the last 3 years. Pointless to ask for it.

And who the frick cares about buzz Williams. They’re not even going to make the tourney.

How is it a “negative”? It’s worked quite a bit for us. Muss has won a ton of close games for us.

Y’all act like we have Michael Jordan every game and it’s as easy as drawing up some
Magic play to win the game and works every time.

The numbers favor a wide open ISO type play where you can maybe get to the line.

Our one reliable catch and shoot guy fouled out and y’all are wanting some triple screen catch and shoot play from a team that can’t throw it in the ocean.

It was the right call by Muss. JD just didn’t execute.

Buzz Williams? The guy that's about to get fired and has been the biggest bust hire in SEC in last couple years? You lost me.

I mean the jacking up 3 is on the player, the iso is on Muss.

We have seen players with the ball in iso to end the game drive and make good plays (tate against Oral Roberts in the tournament comes to mind first).

Clown board. We just came back from double digits on the road to a team that’s beaten Gonzaga and Baylor whilst shooting 30% and were going to nitpick the coach for a player taking a bad shot.

We certainly increase our chances by calling a TO there after the rebound of the missed free throw to help advance the ball. Still a long shot but better imo.

You are way overreacting to my comment, I said I don't mind the iso. I didn't like the no TO on the last shot. I literally put almost all of that on JD not passing the ball.

Exactly. I appreciate you acknowledging this.

With this squad in particular, it feels like the right call. Bama defended well and JD made a poor decision.

Very Last shot? I thought you meant JDs?

I may be confused. Either way, I don’t put any of that on coaching. Muss has proven to be very solid in clutch. We win drastically more close games than we lose.

No, Devo 3/4 court shot. We had time for a quick TO. Pass the ball up the court and another TO for a quick shot. Very small criticism from my view but still think it would have helped.

No doubt. I didn’t think twice and figured Devo probably just jacked the shot but yea, muss probably would have been screaming for it. Who knows how it played out.

I just hate losing to Bama right now. Cannot stand them pretending to be elite in basketball. That atmosphere was a joke today.

Regardless of how you feel about their fans, losing to them on the road by 1 is no shame.

Maybe I feel different cause I was expecting us to lose by 10-15 after Tuesday.
