Muss is really regretting not looking for a legit point out of the portal right now as well.

In the end best thing is likely call Devo in snd tell him you need him to run the offense, and then tell Notae and Lykes the hot hand gets the minutes each game.

Williams is going to have to start throwing some muscle around inside as well. Smith is gone and he’s going to have to take that roll over.

Notae isn't a defensive liability.

He couldn’t stay in front of anyone tonight. I felt bad for JWill with the position that Notae kept putting him in. Notae was embarrassingly bad on several defensive possessions

What's crazy is playing defense is a mindset. Effort goes a long way

We've been able to turn on the defense in some games down the home stretch this season but over these last two games... unh unh.

The good news is that we looked fairly shaky last year and turned it on down the home stretch. I have a feeling we are going to need to do that again.

Not going to happen, this is a bad basketball club. Muss is a Hell of a corch, but he can't turn shite in to a brisket.

There were a few guys we were rumored on but no way too know for sure how hard we pushed for them.

Have bigger problems but Hostra staying at a Quad 2 loss could be very important down the road.

They are at 90 NET right now and need to stay inside 100.

Not having any legit outside shooters is hurting us way worse.

OU had three guys over 6-5 that could knock down threes.

We don't have one.

In the few games I’ve seen I just don’t see how Muss can’t squeeze a top 25 level performance out of this team. Toney and Williams are good enough center pieces to make it happen.

The way he was talking it sounded more like team chemistry.

Top 25 teams have those two center pieces and a few guys that can shoot and defend.

We’ve got a bunch of guys that can’t shoot and don’t play very good defense.

Their rolls are to pick up garbage baskets, rebound, and pass the ball. Zero plays are ran for either one to score.

It poor guard play which muss hasn't had until this year as he's had 3 nba caliber guards and premier league euro guards.

This year he has Devo and the inability to jaxson and kk to earn minutes away from notae and Lykes I'm the rotation. Basically the best perimeter shooters are on the bench for whatever reason leaving guards who all try to do the same thing. He needs two spot up shooter and only one who can make something happen off the bounce at a time in the court imo.

I would argue we do but haven't seen enough of him yet to say whether he is a net benefit on the court. At the very least he has earned the right to more minutes considering how much the team has struggled.

Agreed.

Should have said the guys that have played the bulk of the minutes.

That happens in the portal from players that were on different teams. Someone wants this but the other wants that.

This was a shitty transfer class by all accounts.

Muss didn't get a legit 5 which is killing us at the moment.

Devo isn't Tate and the midget is a defensive nightmare.

It won't help with the 3 point defense but it might not be a bad idea to try zone defense with this team if the dribble penetration doesn't get fixed.

After listening to Muss' press conference today, he said that we will see a different starting line up. Hoping that is in regards to giving Jaxson a chance. He talked about him having a good game as well.

On what regard?

Defense? The bigs are having to help the guards too much to be able to focus on their job.

Offense? It isn't 1984, it is a guard driven game. Good teams have good guard play, bad teams do not.

A solid 4 or 5 that can jump higher than 6" would be a game changer.
