Why is our non conference schedule so garbage?
Eh, its not name worthy but there are 4-5 teams on that non conference schedule that should compete for their league. The schedule could look really solid in February if 2 or 3 of those teams are winning their respective leagues.

Moses Moody had a game-high 24 points and a game-high nine rebounds to lead Arkansas to a 72-60 victory over UT Arlington Wednesday night at Bud Walton Arena.
Arkansas improves to 3-0 while the Mavericks drop to 1-3.
The game was close most of the first half, but the Razorbacks were able to pull away late to lead by 11 (44-33) at the break. A 17-7 Razorback run to start the second half – thanks to six points from Moody and four from Justin Smith – gave Arkansas an 18-point cushion and UTA never threatened the rest of the way.
Arkansas shot the ball well in the first half (46.9% overall and 42.9% from 3-point range) but was just 10-of-30 from the field, including 1-of-7 from beyond the arc, in the second half.
Jalen Tate (14), Connor Vanover (12) and Justin Smith (11) also reached double figures in points. Smith added nine rebounds and Tate had six with four assists. Vanover’s 12 points came in just 12 minutes of play.
Shahada Wells paced UTA with 17 points – 16 coming in the second half – and Fredelin De La Cruz added 11. points
Arkansas will return to Bud Walton Arena on Saturday (Dec. 5) to host Lipscomb. Tipoff is set for 5:00 pm (CT) and will be telecast on the SEC Network Plus.
Hogs shot 33% in the 2nd half.

I wish he'd experiment a little more with playing Vanover and Smith with Tate and two other guards.
Feel like Vanover could really stretch the floor leaving Smith down low to keep banging away and give guards more room to slash.
Feels like we've got too many of the same guy on the floor at times and certainly felt that way in the second half last night.

This team has a ton of gelling to do before we can compete with a good team. Too many guys looking for their own shots instead of sharing the ball.

Muss said he thinks Notae may have dislocated his thumb, one of the reasons (along with his bad 1st half) he didn't play in the second half last night.

Not really seeing his value so far. He can* score but it just doesn't feel like its best for the team vs others on the floor.
And his defense is shite.
And his defense is shite.

Definitely. I still feel like this is one of the better early season teams we've had. They'll need to come together but talent wise were looking like we got run potential

Much better response from the team this game, Lipscomb isn't as bad as they looked.

Really like our bench.
The ceiling is really high if they keep playing good defense
We will be streaky on offense but in general we rarely have this many players that are a threat to score on the court at the same time
