2020-21 Season Long Arkansas Basketball
Lets Get This Party Started

For the first time since the 1946-47 season, Arkansas will play Central Arkansas in men’s basketball. The game is set for Dec. 12, 2020, and will be contested in Bud Walton Arena.

The Razorbacks are 6-0 all-time versus the Bears, including a 3-0 record in games played in Fayetteville.

The series dates back to Arkansas’ first season of basketball. The teams met on back-to-back days during the 1923-24 season (Jan. 11 and 12) in Fayetteville with the Razorbacks winning 62-27 and 34-14, respectively.

Games three, four and five in the series were played in Conway, one coming in December 1933 (a 53-30 Razorback win) and the other two the following December (Arkansas winning 42-38 and 66-27, respectively).

The last meeting in the series came on Feb. 1, 1947, in Fayetteville, a 59-39 decision in favor of the Razorbacks.

Cbs sports picks arkansas 6th in conference

Last year’s record: 20-12 (7-11)

247Sports’ take: It might be shocking to some to see Arkansas this high on the list after finishing in the bottom half of the SEC last season. But after landing four prospects with a four-star rating, things are red-hot for Eric Musselman. There will be plenty of playing time up for grabs for the Razorbacks, too, as their three top scorers will not be back this season.

Announced today we’re playing Mississippi Valley State and North Texas in a MTE.

Man...going from playing Louisville to that is pretty depressing. At least it’s in Fayetteville.

The size difference from last year to this is amazing

Will be nice not going into games like Miss St last year where we know that their big is gonna have a career day against us and there is nothing we can do about it.

Yep, just them running the court looks like a much bigger and more mature team even though there are so many new faces.

Seems pretty clear to me that Justin Smith and Moses Moody will be two of the biggest contributors

Jackson with a nice little run there at the end as well. After the half my projected lineup is Notae, Sills, Moody, Smith, Jackson.
