I saw this the other day and was appalled. Here are the scheduled 2019 games in Fayetteville.
1) Portland State
2) San Jose State
3) Western kentucky
4) Colorado State
5) Auburn
6) Mississippi State
Absolutely atrocious.
A&M and Missouri are both neutral site games
I know that bringing up GSD is a taboo on this site, but Good Lord. The first thing after a 160 million dollar stadium expansion, is this?! Unbelievable!
Surely the Dallas game will be moved home for the 2019 season. The season ticket sales will plummet. Colorado State is the 3rd best home game. Every other school in this conference plays 7-8 games at home very year. I just don't understand.

I think you're mistaken, Missouri is the best home game of the season taking place in God's country at WMS!

Yeah...OK. What was I thinking?
In all seriousness, that schedule is indicative of deep-seeded problems in the athletic department. Who in their right mind would allow that to happen?

Hope you caught the sarcasm, I live in Fayetteville and feel the same way but is what it is.

Jeff Long and the GOBN

Every time that I look at the schedule for '19, I think it is a joke...and then reality sets in.

Looks like 6 wins though at home.

Jeff Long was and is a self-serving piece of shite.

The Governor getting involved in Arkansas athletics program with what he thinks is best when he no different than any random fan and doesn’t have a damn clue.
LR boosters - GOBN and our stupid admin from BOT, President, Chancellor and AD who are okay with pouring $160 mil into a facility to not use it every time possible.

Well that's a little stupid. It's a state institution and he's the governor so...

If he wants to give his opinion then he needs to focus on programs that run off of subsidies -- jonesboro tech, conway college, and little rock university.
force those schools to play in wms.

Michigan backing out really hurt our schedule.
But next year we get to go to TD Jesus. I might actually go to that away game.

He should have no say in what the athletic department does or where it plays games.
He doesn’t have a damn clue. Keep political agendas out of the football program and what he thinks is in its’ best interest.

We go to ND in 2020. We host CSU next season.

At least Morris will (presumably) be in year 3 and hopefully have built a solid foundation by that point so that we can hold our own and not embarrass ourselves and the conference.
At least it's not a situation like Petrino having to play Texas in Austin in 2008 with Casey Dick playing QB. I was at that game and it remains the single worst away game I've ever been to, because in addition to us getting obliterated, Ole Miss beat #1 Florida that same day. The Texas fans around us were chiding us about how we were fool for firing Nutt.
