People are flight tracking on the other board as if HY would use a plane that is traceable by the public.

Chris Beard really needs to lose Saturday.

Also,

Can somebody splain to me how Nikki is still employed? I've yet to see her bring anything of substance outside of posting a commitment story before the commitment happened.

I kind of feel like if we aren't hearing more noise about Mussellman by noon then it either isn't him or we are waiting on Beard to tell us no.
I have no source whatsoever but I kind of think there will be some major movement on this thing today.

Yeah, if Mussellman is the guy, surely we will hear something today. With Beard's buyout at 12 million, I really don't see that happening. Marshall from Wichita is around half a million buyout with a salary of 3.5 million. The real question is would he come here for money just north of 4 million.

I didn’t realize this. Can’t see this happening in that case. Who was the last coach to leave a Final Four team at the end of the year for a different team?

Just watched a bunch of you tube stuff on Muscles.... I'm changing my opinion on him pretty rapidly. The guy knows ball and I'm coming around to his transfer/development philosophy.

I believe that every non-governmental aircraft is traceable as long as you know the tail number

Roy Williams and he has deep deep ties to UNC.

And it was UNC.

Hence why Beard isn't happening. We need to move on.

I guess the idea is that you eliminate a lot of the uncertainty about what your roster will look like the following year because players are much less likely to transfer out once they’ve already transferred and have limited eligibility. At most you’re looking 2 years in the future instead of 4 or 5. The downside is that fielding an elite team with transfers and juco players is probably tough.

It doesn't matter. He is not coming. Let's move on to legit candidates.

Im trying not to get too high or low on one candidate. Fluid situation, w lots of moving parts, which could, quite frankly, go either way. But, do, expect rapid movement in the coming day(s).

This is not a cluster frick. Trust the process

Dang some of you are wound tight.

I know Beard isn't coming. Anybody with common sense knows he isn't coming. We just paid fat bert 12 million, we aren't going to shell it out again.

I think people forget how long coaching searches can take.

Well, in this situation imo, you either get Kelvin Sampson or you basically shat the bed. We weren't ever getting Chris beard

There are your 3 candidates. If its Pitino or Mcaffery I'll cuss HY on twitter.

IF the thing about wanting to make his kid coach in waiting is actually true, then he's a big ole nope for me.

At his age, I could easily see him coach 2 or 3 years and move on to help out his kid if that's the case leaving us with a guy that's never been a head coach running this thing.
