I can tell you right now he would be the best we've had since Nolan based off those videos and what I have read about him.

Agreed. But if we have BOT holding things up saying they can deliver, they need to either put up or shut up. No reason they can’t a definitive yes or no before his season is over.

You can play position-less ball in the league bc you are paying for and getting the best guys in the sport. Plus you have year around to develop them and adapt to all 5 positions.
Trying to do that in college ? And at Arkansas ? IDK sounds about like trying to bring big ten football to the SEC.. It was a bad idea to start with. Not saying the guy can't win here or that he may not even have some success. But I doubt he'd do much better than Mike.
And I don't see how he can recruit better than NR based off watching a video. I watched the videos on youtube. It didn't give me the same impression.
Folks I'd love to be wrong here. But my initial impression. Is bad fit, wrong guy.

He runs that crap in Reno using transfers from old dominion and northern Arizona. I think we’ll be fine.
And year round coaching? Do we have a bunch of multi sport athletes on the basketball team I don’t know about preventing that?

I said best since Nolan, meaning a better recruiter than Health, Pelphrey, and Mike.
That's not a big task, but he seems like a hard worker and knows how to build relationships.

Had meetings at Houston Ship Channel. Had to postpone a couple weeks ago because of fire about a mile or so from there, and just when I’m done today that damn chemical plant decided to pop it’s top.

Our media isn’t the best so when one reports something it is a mad dash to say the same thing as fast as possible so you can prove your “sources” were right. It’s like they say on the Dan Patrick show we don’t break the news we sprain it.

Arkansas is going to screw the pooch again. All of that SEC money and not one fricking brain cell between all of the BOT's members.
Frankly I'm starting to think that being a former special needs kid is a requirement for being on the BOT or to be the AD here.
They have SEC money and just can't get out of their own way. If I'm wrong I'm wrong. I really like CCM but Norvell seemed like a much better coach.
I wanted Beard since he beat Purdue. But of course TPTB decide to sit with a mediocre coach until that becomes impossible.
Does anyone up there have a clue what they are doing ?
