Marshall would be a great hire. So would Dixon.
I like either better than an aging Sampson who is not trying to set up his son for a HC gig.
Beard would be the grand slam but doubtful now that TTU is in the final four.
I said Marshall from the jump and would be very happy with the hire.

The choices are endless. Yurachek is keeping it close to the vest. I wouldn't be upset with Musselman at all. Something tells me this hire is gonna surprise everyone.

You’re gonna have more local talent here that will come to the hill whether hotly pursued or not.
He’s gonna develop and get the most out of the talent on the team.
Irrespective of recruiting habits, the guy wins.

Link not working but I read that article a few days ago. Concerns in there for sure but he is also taking the most negative things he can find in justification for why Musselman will stay.
I don't want our teams to be 100% based on transfers coming in but people also overlook the recruiting factor that comes into grabbing some of these transfers. It will also be interesting to see how the transfer portal evolves and what the NCAA does with some of the transfer rules. It seems like transfers are going to be a bigger market then ever before.

The Buzz reporting that the search is on hold as Arkansas still wants to talk face to face to Chris Beard. Gregg Marshall and Musselman would be backups.

If TT wants to keep him then they will have to give him a raise anyways.
What kind of offer does anyine think HY would make for Beard? If Sampson was $4MM per year then Beard has to be $5MM per year.

If Marshall is the guy I don't understand why we would try the pipe dream thing with Beard...... I know he's the hot name but he has a pretty short body of work and Marshall is proven and ready to make the move up.
He's already taken a kid Arkansas didn't want and made him a solid DI player. Show him the money and let's get this thing rolling.
