Publicly yes 22 is the number however privately I doubt it.

We are at 18 with these needs and players available.

- At least 2-3 OL
- Henry
- Knox/Wright/or potentially another WR
- Taurean Carter - got four crystal balls for him this morning
- Maybe Kendall Young or someone else comes on the radar after fall camp concludes and has a big senior season

Yep, we need another LB which is what Young is being recruited for.

If we land Taurean Carter, you have to feel good about our chances with Jalen Catalon.

I think our best chances are with Trey Knox.

Then you add in Henry.

That leaves the last 2 spots for OL, 3 spots if we miss on Catalon. I wouldn't doubt it if we continue to see some DL move to OL at some point.

Still underrated. He'll continue to move up over the course of his senior season.

Question for those 'in the know'...

Who is on our big board that we would leave a spot open until signing day for, besides Henry?

I would guess Wright or Knox...

But, also any OL that can breath and move at the same time.

Of what remains he’s the only one IMO. They’d like another WR to turn over the position but are happy with the three (Nash, TQ, Burks) we have now. That isn’t to say they won’t add a fourth going forward.

Where they go HS and JUCO OL is the biggest question left for 2019 because outside of McBride not much on our radar unless we flip a couple.

If we only sign 22 like Morris said we would, we're almost out of spots a month before the season. Of the guys we're in on, some are going to get left out. I wouldn't be surprised if some guys end up decommitting either if room is needed for the better players on our board.

Henry
Catalon
Taurean Carter
Knox
Kendall Young
Mcbride
Mystery O-Lineman

I think we'll sign a full class. There's just too many quality recruits interested right now. Sign a full class and process the dead weight from Bert's previous classes as fast as possible.

With the interest Carter is showing do we keep all of these dlineman or is there 1 or 2 that we let go? I figure henry knox and catalon would be takes no matter what that those are guys you make room for and any lineman that wants to commit on offensive we pretty much can't say no to.

Agree. Also remember Morris likes to save a few scholarships for transfers specifically grad transfers but that might not be a thing in the first full year of recruiting his guys.

I'd rather we take quality high school kids versus a grad transfer who will likely have little to no impact. That's just my opinion though

Hearing Wright committed to aTm. Checking for confirmation.

ETA: Yep, at least according to recruiting board.

Come on down trey knox!

Looks like we will be going for 25. Not 22. We probably end up with carter, catalon, knox, henry, mcbride, some other o line guys.

Going to have to process the rest of the dead weight bert left behind.
