It’s not a good look but he’s been in this for attention since the very beginning.

Makes us appreciate the Treylon Burks who are few and far between in recruiting.

Burks and Henry both keep their head down and work. The type of kid we need here to build.

RB is a position we don’t have a senior so we’ll see what Spivey decides Monday or where we go at that spot.

Do we take one more DL in Ford or Carter?

Will need another couple OL but names aren’t currently there.

Ok, so how do you feel we finish out the class? We still need a RB, more OL and LB. You're really plugged in, so I'm just curious how you see us rounding out the class.

The lines are always the most important part of each class, more so this year, Caldwell and staff have earned their pay.

While this class could possibly be the highest initial ranked class according to the recruiting sites, all that will be for not if the staff continues to whiff on major o-line talent, especially when that talent is choosing to go across state lines to play in offenses similar to Chad's...

One player Dale... One player is going to Oklahoma who has had much bigger success in the past 20 plus years.

ONE... I saw that you had posted, and I knew there would be some trolling, backhanded slaps coming.

Congrats, you keep doing you Dale...

It’s not super clear going forward with camp starting coaches are busy and HS seasons starting, recruiting will quiet down for a bit until visits to games. The number was thought to be 21-22 total and we are at 17. Do they push some out to get towards 25? A lot depends on the # of spots available. How players perform in this fall camp will have a role in who moves on.

We have five RBs in camp - T.J. Hammonds, Devwah Whaley, Rakeem Boyd, Chase Hayden and Maleek Williams - none are seniors but two will be next year.

RB Spivey is set to announce Monday at last report.

Going to need at least 2-3 OL. Henry. Another WR. Best available remaining.

From DW on HawgSports247, take it FWIW:

quote:

For those who haven’t heard, Camden (Ark.) Fairview four-star offensive lineman Stacey Wilkins has committed to Oklahoma. I don’t believe it’s over for Arkansas, not by a long shot. In fact, I’ve spoken with a few people close to Stacey and two of them tell me they think he will still sign with the Razorbacks in the end, for what it’s worth. I do think Oklahoma wanted to get a yes or a no from him so they could move on if they needed to. I actually called Stacey last night to congratulate him and wish him luck on his big day today. Kinda funny, he had gotten a new phone recently and lost his numbers, and he actually thought I was Chad Morris for about the first minute. Apparently we sound alike because we “both sound kinda country,” lol. Anyways, no one should ever rip a kid on Twitter, but especially in this case as I don’t believe this is final at all.

Sounds pretty typical for an average Arkansas football team.

We haven't had 2 four star lineman in-state in a long time, and both of them (Wilkins and Thomas) go to large schools in neighboring states that run the spread. Dale is right. That being said, this is the best overall recruiting class we've had for defensive linemen in program history. I give Morris a pass for this year.

Who calls someone that's not a close friend or family member and assumes they know who you are? Arkansas media. That's who.

2 things on the Wilkins kid.

1. good for him on making his decision. it's a difficult one.

2. we must do a better job locking down the state especially at positions of need.

3. nothings final till the ink dries on signing day.

but, it isn't even remotely CCM's fault. Look at our last few years, Lordy Mercy, who wouldn't go elsewhere? I am a huge hog fan, but would consider elsewhere as well with how our program has been trending and with the lack of fan support. Fan support the last two years was appalling.

He can’t bitch about DVH for a while so he is moving on to a coach that has yet to have his first game to try and deflect from Mike Anderson. It’s really pathetic

Exactly. I'm glad Treylon Burks is going to be a hog and I'm glad the Arkansas boards that I frequent can stop discussing prima donna Stacey Wilkins.
