quote:and look where that got us. Should've fired his arse when he went 7-6 with a top 10 defense after only winning 3 games ( I would've honestly been ok with firing him after year 1). We will fund out in the fall what chad is made of. I have a feeling he will do better than fat frick. And let's see, you seem to prefer fat frick and suitcase mike over dvh so i probably have a better grasp of what a good coach looks like I'll probably be right I wish you really were a Baylor fan.
No. Bert came in with a proven track record, P5 conference championships, etc.

Arkansas is expected to have its chance at winning over linebacker Donte Starks before he makes a commitment. The New Orleans area prospect recently told SEC Country he’s planning to visit the Razorbacks’ campus this summer. That trip should come before his commitment date of July 8, his 18th birthday.

Noland, who also plans to pitch at Arkansas, continued his dominant senior season on the mound by tossing a no-hitter Monday. He struck out 14 over his 7 innings in a 5-0 victory over Russellville (Ark.) High School. He also didn’t allow a walk and would’ve had a perfect game if not for an error.

The Razorbacks are not scheduled to host any official visitors this weekend as of Tuesday afternoon. That could change in the coming days, but is also on par with what has been expected.
Arkansas coach Chad Morris said following spring practice the staff would host official visitors for two weekends in April and at least one weekend in both May and June.
The Hogs have had official visitors on campus the past two weekends. All of them were linemen — Collin Clay (DL), Beaux Limmer (OL), Triston Miller (OL), Trevor Roberson (OL) and Joseph Stone (OL). Limmer and Stone are committed to the Hogs.

High ranking 3 star who has the measurables. Could get that 4th star with a good senior year. This is the kind of kid we have to get and develop all across our defense to get to where we want to get.
It is easier for us to get 4 star skill guys. Defensively we have to get these guys, and a few studs. Coach them up and we will get to where we want to get. Even though we were ranked poorly, our star per player was in this category. I am good with that.

Arkansas will host junior college offensive lineman Christian Lofton for an official visit May 4-6. He attends College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, Calif., along with 2018 defensive end signee Dorian Gerald. Though Lofton is listed as a 2018 recruit by 247Sports, the Razorbacks are pursuing him as a potential mid-year addition next winter as part of the 2019 class.
Lofton (6-foot-4, 335 pounds) played guard at College of the Canyons last season and projects to stay there if he gets an opportunity beyond junior college. He does not currently have an offer from Arkansas nor has he reported one from other FBS programs.

Arkansas had a member of its coaching staff in Yuma, Ariz., for the second time in as many weeks Tuesday. The Hogs were back at Arizona Western College to check in on a pair of top 2019 targets — cornerback Elijah Blades and offensive lineman Desmond Bland.
Blades (6-2, 170) is the No. 1 cornerback and No. 3 overall junior college player in the 2019 class. His offer list includes Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and others. He signed with Nebraska coming out of John Muir High School (Pasadena, Calif.) as part of the Cornhuskers’ 2017 class. He enrolled in junior college without ever arriving on campus in Lincoln.
Bland (6-4, 300) received attention from the Hogs last winter as a potential 2018 addition, but is now planning to be at Arizona Western for another season. Rivals rates him as a 4-star prospect in the 2019 class.

Arkansas defensive end target Mataio Soli recently set plans to officially visit Fayetteville in June. He’s expected to be on campus the second weekend of the month (June 7-9).
Soli (6-4, 225) is a 3-star prospect from Douglas County High School in Georgia. He had 77 tackles, 20 for loss, and 18 sacks as a junior last season. He has nearly 30 offers from FBS programs with Arkansas extending one in February. His offer list also includes Alabama, Clemson, Stanford and several other Power 5 programs.
Soli unofficially visited Arkansas in late March. His father, Junior, was a defensive end at Arkansas from 1992-95. The elder Soli also made the trip to Fayetteville.

Who are you kidding, if he commits he’ll be 7’0

I keep hoping I’ll open this thread up to news of a commit but that never happens.
