Isn't Cole Kelley eligible because he transferred back to Louisiana?

He's eligible because he transferred to FCS, Luke could transfer to UCA and not have to sit out if he wanted to.

Or he could transfer to Arkansas, claim homesickness and play next year. Center problem solved.

Could really use that size, he can also step outside and hit a shot from 3 which really fits what we need more of

Both were playing really well before their injuries

It’s refreshing to have a basketball program getting in the transfer game.

He is also visiting Hoiberg and Nebraska this weekend, was previously scheduled to visit Nevada this weekend so clearly he likes Musselman. Had shoulder surgery in December.

Should also call these guys.

quote:

In a surprising turn of events that crashes sky-high expectations for Marquette men's basketball next season, the Golden Eagles announced Monday that brothers Sam and Joey Hauser will transfer at the end of the semester.

Sam, a 6-foot-8 junior, was a second-team all-Big East selection and averaged 15.1 points per game while shooting 40.2% on three-pointers. He will not be a graduate transfer, so he will sit one season and then be eligible for one at his next school.

Joey, a 6-9 redshirt freshman, averaged 9.7 points and 5.3 rebounds while shooting 42.5% on threes. He will sit next season as a transfer and then will be able to play two more unless he can get a medical waiver for his redshirt season and be able to play another one.

It's confirmed. Luke Jones is transferring to UA. He's gonna try to get a waiver to be eligible immediately.

Last week I questioned what Khadim Sy’s asking price was and of we could afford him. Today we make his top 5. Glad to see we are in the game with him. He’s one of the best JUCO bigs this year. Plus he already had a year in the ACC under his belt.

Don’t get your hopes up. OM will do what it takes to get him and they have ties.

High Point grad transfer Jahaad Proctor tells me he will visit Arkansas on May 3rd-5th. Will also visit Purdue on April 24th-26th. Immediately eligible.

19PPG last year.

As I said on the HawgSports Live podcast, I spoke to Ralph Amsden (recruiting writer in Arizona), and he feels that Arkansas is now the team to beat for Walker. Dude is a man child and will fill the Small Forward role that the Hogs have lacked for a while. I have linked a video below that includes highlights from his Freshmen year to present. Kyree has a great shot at reclassifying to the 2019 class and signing to play this upcoming season

Holy frick. This is literally dream scenario.

Whatever everybody else does to land these players.... do that! Time to prove again that Arkansas belongs.

Was listening to sports radio on the way home yesterday, and they were talking about how BS and total inconsistent the NCAA is, and basically why would you try to abide by the rules. If you refuse to cooperate with the NCAA, hire a few attorney's, or a blue blood, nothing significant happens to you. Have to say I agree.

Source tells me Arkansas has reached out to ESPN's overall No. 1 grad-transfer prospect Kerry Blackshear, Jr. @kjblack15, who's also considering entering NBA draft ... avg 14.9 pts & 7.5 rb as RS jr at VaTech in '18-19 ... immediately eligible ... 1st reported by @jakeweingarten
