Saw this on another board and thought it was interesting. They projected the starting offense based off spring and foreward projecting of skill. Barring any big injuries, seems like a pretty nice upgrade already by Morris. I’m hesitant to buy in to the OL until I see it though. I also begrudgingly think Colton Jackson will hold on to a starting spot.

2018 Starters

QB: Ty Storey
RB: Rakeem Boyd
WR: LaMichael Pettway
WR: Jared Cornelius
WR: Deon Stewart
TE: Cheyenne O'Grady
LT: Colton Jackson
LG: Hjalte Froholdt
OC: Ty Clary
RG: Johnny Gibson
RT: Brian Wallace

2019 Starters

QB: Nick Starkel
RB: Rakeem Boyd
WR: Trey Knox
WR: Treylon Burks
WR: Mike Woods
TE: Cheyenne O'Grady
LT: Myron Cunningham
LG: Austin Capps
OC: Ty Clary
RG: Shane Clenin
RT: Noah Gatlin

I'm really hoping Clary is not starting on the OL anywhere. If he is, we're fricked.

I think - which means nothing - that we could have a decent season this year. Excited to see how much the purge helped this team.

Yeah a Clary concerns me as well. It would be awesome if Luke Jones could get a waiver and snag that spot.

Yes, it would be. We need that badly.

Man, I'm so freaking excited about Knox. IMO, he's going to be the difference maker between shite/spit.

Yeah. He’ll have to redshirt though this season, if he can’t get a waiver. Hopefully he’s got a good lawyer.

It’s usually the last week of July/first week of August.

Looks like skill positions improve but the line will still probably be well below SEC West caliber. The line has been a disaster since at least 2016. That’s gotta get fixed if we’re ever going to climb out of the gutter.

yeah and unfortunately that's the hardest piece to solve quickly. it takes quality and very few freshmen are ever sec ready during their first season

Danny West reported tonight that he’s been told August 1st is the report day for fall camp. So we’re only 40 days out from football season beginning.

Honestly, I dont think the O line can play much worse than last year. We should be better there, whatever that is worth.

We have some big targets at WR and a speedy deep threat if Woods can pick up where he has flashed in the past.

We know what Boyd can do.

Starkel is a big wild card. If he can get the ball out quickly enough of the time, we should see a great deal of improvement.

Seems like I can count the number of quick slants we have completed the past 6 years on one hand. That is the #1 thing we can do to help the offensive line.

fricking annoys me we cant do this one simple thing, yet teams eat us alive on it.

Also I figure hicks starts the year, and starkel finishes it though. I hope so at least.

I am not expecting miracles from our players. For me it is how much growth do we see from our coaching staff? Our OC last season was, to put it mildly, way out of his depth. Supposedly he has a great offensive mind so will this be the season he demonstrates that?
