He was only offered a walk on spot at Texas Tech. He's not bad but he'll never see the field here.

Blueshirt is not just a walk-on spot. It’s what Ty Clary and Hayden Henry did this past season and signed scholarship papers this last week.

You have to start somewhere making inroads back into Texas. You're not going to get many, if any, "BIG TIME" Texas recruits until you can show the program is worth a shite on the field. Give the man some time.

I agree and disagree. Morris, regardless of SMU or Arkansas, will recruit players he needs, so he can win.
I want 5* studs too, but if this is the best for his system and his team then so be it. He put the time in (recruiting) for a reason.

We are a week and a half from early signing and he obviously leveraged those relationships to get quick commits before moving to harder recruits. That was his top recruit and we need a lot more ot's
