Now that we're hearing it's a walk-on spot, I feel better. That makes sense. A 5'9" QB getting a football scholarship at a school that's sucking wind? That doesn't make sense.
Our PTB have to be willing to sacrifice nepotism at the very LEAST. Like - we suck enough already, as it is, with a roster that's overwhelmingly 3 & 4 star QB's that had numerous D1 offers. We need a superstar QB, more than anything, to have a shot at a championship.
I'll also clarify what I mean by being done. HAD that been a scholarship offer, I'd absolutely have been done expecting any kind of success out of the program. If it happened anyway? fricking awesome. But it would change my level of expectation because it's obvious that I and the PTB have differences in opinion. There'd be no need for me to invest any more emotionally than they were.

Probably means morris realizes they don't have the talent to play in the sec. I always felt like bielema took 4 or 5 players every year that I knew would never see the field and if they did would be a liability because they just weren't sec athletes

Curious what happens with Hanspard. Gotta think coach is familiar with him and would at least make contact at some point.

No DC makes sense for hanspard but wren is a 4 star WR though...seems odd

They are both listed as athletes but wren lists wr on Twitter and I think we have wanted him on defense but I think both play both ways

After he decommitted because we had offered and wanted him to play OLB.

Well hell, they decommit and wonder why they haven't been contacted by a new staff right away? I'm sure CCM is aware of them and the situation and will make a decision on whether to pursue them.

What ever happened to that one 4 star WR from Texas that suddenly everyone was picking him to go to the hogs. Had a long last name with an e I believe. Had an amazing highlight tape, but I Think may have had an injury that made people back off.
