That tells you just how little he talks to reporters. Folks have been reporting for over a month now that he would visit Oregon and Wisconsin.

Interestingly (if) Whaley visits Texas the 15th Porter won't be there either. I wish we could get both to come be a duo and split carries especially if Alex leaves.
I bet Porter visits us the 22 or doesn't visit if Whaley sticks.

Yeah I would love to land both but I'm betting also that he never visits if Whaley sticks.
Not that I'm going to complain about getting Whaley. He and Porter are my top two out of the 5 we've pursued so I'm happy either way.

He's going to LSU, I think thats a very easy one to call. Watched a segment on him the other night on local Shreveport news and they didn't even mention Arkansas as a finalist… of course this was also the same station that said Nutt was the new head coach of Colorado a few years ago too… so they got that going for them.

I figure it's LSU, and not that I take THEIR word for it, but LSU folks are really confident in getting him.
As far as Bama, of course you never take anything as gospel, but one poster on the LSU recruiting board had this to say:

Whaley was on RD's radio show last night and said he probably won't be taking his official to Texas but will talk to his family about it

I would say he is going to LSU regardless.
